Assetto Corsa Server: Track and Car Combinations

I was just going to warn that mod cars can be tricky. There is a risk they are too fast or slow (compared to the other cars belonging to the same class). Good that Neys discovered it. Not saying that it's bad because it a mod but comparison to other cars like said.

The last car (the truck) was great. Have to repeat it again some time

The inclusion of the Corvette was based on a few laps I'd done in it at SPA, where I'd matched lap times with the Z4 GT3, I did wonder if it handled just a little too nicely, and would be too quick.

I Guess it had better be pulled from the list.

Still some nice other GT3 to be getting along with.

Yeah, no bother Deetz.  We can run the GT3 class and maybe do that Corvette again another time, it does seem quite good.

So far for me ( not done many laps yet) the Merc is a right handful!  The Z4 and McLaren are about the same for me, I think I prefer the McLaren Atm though.

All 3 cars are pretty much the same speed for me - KUNOS seems to do a good job in balancing the GT3

Yes, surprisingly even group. I was going to say that to me SLS is the fastest but the least balanced to drive and MP4 slowest but easiest to handle. ...but then I managed to make the best time with BMW. MP4 handles very much like a mid engine car while the German ones are easier to slide the back end and especially so with the SLS. That is with the default sets for me.

Good turn out and good racing yesterday, thanks all.  It's good to see that gt2 class is well balanced. Great to have Hockenheimring in my collection now too.

Personal favourite track of mine this time, Barbagallo.  I tried lots of different cars...I'd love to do a V8 Supercar obviously ..none available yet.  This Step 3 458 ticks a lot of the boxes though, "just one more lap" :racing: .

Well i would of been on sorry for the no show, but i am having lots of trouble with ac at the moment i cant load the tracks just keeps spitting me back to the main screen wont load at all tried deleting tracks i had placed in the folder validated the game no files needed im now at a lose also check the ac forums for similar problems but havn't found any thing yet any help would be greatly received.:sad:

About the track. Quite exotic. It is fun for relaxing. Don't know how well it suits racing. It has maybe one possible overtaking place.

seems to be a problem loading into the tracks on any mode career online practice the lot don't really want delete everything and start again

Hi Button, just try to rename your Assetto Corsa folder in your to something else (just to see if it works). If this helps, you can switch back to your old user documents and see what file causes the troubles.

nope renamed it same thing happens even re installed the game still same problem even reverted the ac file in docs to an earlier folder still same problem goes to loading page then nothing back to main page.

Ah, nice one Seany! I'd wish for a few more laps per race though... How about adjusting the lap count for appr. 10 minute races? Would result in 10-11 laps for the track.

I'm 99% sure that there is some weirdness going on with this combo. The combo feels totally different in multiplayer (I'm appr. 0.5s quicker there) than in singleplayer (hotlap mode). Track quality is set to optimum in both scenarios. Setup is also the same.

When I drive in MP I hear significantly less tyre squeaking than in SP and the car limits are totally different.

Anyone else observing this?
