This looks quiet interesting they all sound like TIE Fighters which is good thing for me :)

Starts in Sept and have 10 races all over the globe, I am thinking I might keep a eye on this see what happens anyone else seen much about it.

I think ITV 4 have picked up the rights for it.

"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon.." Terry Pratchett

Yeah, ITV have been promoting it, I'll be watching with interest :thumb:

Looking forward to this series of races. I've seen the Bike guys racing electrics in the IOM TT Zero races and they are unbelievably quick, with John McGuiness and Bruce Anstey lapping the TT circuit at an average in excess of 115 mph, but its weird to hear them whizz past and not even a sniff of Castrol R.

Jamin

mmmmm... Castrol R

Whats the equivalent name for a petrol head in this .... best i came up with was a shock jock :P

The first race has just finished and .. err... I'll give it a while to find it's feet I think. Maybe it would have been a better race if it had been on a proper track instead of a street circuit.

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Wowzers, who was driving the other car that 'purposely' drove into Nick? Makes Rosberg / Hamilton 'crash' very tame
 Bring on the randomness!
Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

there are already calls to remove those type of curbs, these are the same as the one at spa that the formula 3 driver "flew" over

Think they are called 'Sausage curbs', I agree though, they are dangerous and seen a few F1 cars getting launched. It's worse if they land flat as there is more chance of spinal damage.

I just saw brief highlights of the race on the news, having to change cars halfway through the race as the batteries run out is hardly inspiring me to go out & buy an electric car (as I imagine that's the whole idea of this)
