Never seen anything related to no rent in the stretch goals, where did you find the info?

You will be able to rent hangars in different places and store your ships there.  Rent will be payable every so often, presumably monthly.


For early backers, hangar fees on the first 'starting' hangar will be waived, allowing some of us to store our ships there for free. Additional hangars will cost us just like anyone else.

I like my industrial hangar. Fits better with the Cutlass and reminds me a bit of Firefly.

I see them all on the Hangar config on the web page but none of my packages include the R&Y and I think that's sweet.

I have to say that I can't understand why I would see a hangar that I don't have access to through a pledge but Constellation owners only see one hangar.

Yep - I have them all too, but don't have anything that directly gives me access to the Industrial hangar. I think there must be some rule that if you have a certain sized ship, you get the hangar most likely to fit it. Or if you've pledged over a certain amount or something.

I'm most interested in the R&Y hangar, but I'm keen to see if it fits an Idris or 890

And yeah, I'm very happy my first hangar fees are free.

I'm put off by the fact that you have to place the hanger somewhere they're going to dictate. If be really happy if the asteroid hanger was in a cliff or something. Love the look and feel of it I'll wait to see what is happening with the carrack yet - see if I have enough left.

I now have the Self Land Hangar as my view of choice, not explored it yet. Also have the Aeroview and Revel & York.

Will be interesting to see where the hangars will be located, as I understand that the luxurious hangars will be in cities and the industrial will be in an asteroid or something along those lines. Hoping starting area won't be too far apart or that it won't matter that much.

If the hangar types vary in location and price. It may be an advantage to pick the most expensive one in the start, or that the organisation pick hangars that are located in close proximity to each other. For now one can only speculate though. If it turns out it doesn't matter, I will stick with the industrial one, as I love the look and feel of it

In 'My Hangar' there is a 'Configuration' button in the hangar section that allows you to set which one to see.

That only shows the ones you have though? I thought you could preview all based on what was said here?

I just have the standard Cutlass package, and I can select all 4 hangars on my profile page. Don't know if that means I can pick any of one of them or just preview them.

I only see 3 hangars to view, no Astreroid one so I assume you need to own them to take a look, or go on youtube.

I can select all but the VFG one, and I used to have VFG available for a while some time ago, it's not there anymore though.

This is it, and also the reason behind the (justified IMO) forum complaining.... The $100 Cutlass gives you access to ALL hangars, i don't really see that as very fair to Connie owners, it would make sense if the VFG/R&Y hangars were priced equally both as top tier but were mutually exclusive to their respective ships i think.... seems odd that a Cutlass for $100 gives you access to the R&Y Hangar but a Connie for $200+ doesn't give you access to the VFG ?

As for Hangar starting positions, it seems from what they've hinted that Self Land will literally be everywhere, Aeroview will also be in every system but probably only at the more upmarket landing zones, R&Y will probably only not be available in fringe systems & VFG will be the opposite, probably only not available close to the centre of high pop/high security systems.... there will be a massive overlap of available locations i'm sure.
