Wanted: Fighter Craft (LTI)

So.... I joined this game late and would like to have a fighter craft of some sort that is strong and has LTI. The Hornet FC7-M for example.

Any options/ advice from those of you with more knowledge of the game appreciated.

Well, there's the SuperHornet (prepare to sell a kidney), or wait until the deep space fighter is out.

Deep space fighters are typically used to pursue engagements in outlying areas when support from a carrier is not available. Bulldogs are usually flown by ground- and station-based naval forces, and are widely used by militia squadrons. Specifically designed to operate from planetary bases and engage targets up to a star system’s distance, the fighter trades some maneuverability for an extended supply of fuel and munitions as well as basic survival accommodations for a pilot and radar operator. The only place you'll find an F7C-M with LTI is in the secondary market.   They're currently going for about $330, which is quite a markup.  The Bulldog does sound a lot like what you asked for though!

Well, I can actually help you out there, too.  I *think* I can unmelt another one for me and then I'll have an LTI Digital Colonel + Superhornet package I can send you.  It's pricey though - I don't like to make a whole lot of profit on this kind of thing, but even buying direct from CIG I think it was around $180.  They go for about $250-$350 on the grey market (but I never liked the over-inflated prices on there, so I'd do it for a lot less).

PM me if you're interested - but don't forget, you'll be able to get that deep-space fighter with LTI too at some point directly from CIG

EDIT:  Also, don't forget that Chris Roberts keeps telling everyone that LTI isn't that big a deal.  It matters to people like me because I'm an irrational collector.  In the game though, it supposedly won't have a very big impact at all.

Hey, no worries - the F7C-M has about a million guns on it, a jump drive, a second seat and it's tough as nails.  However, it doesn't have a space toilet.  So you need an LTI nappy too.
