I'd just completed the first stage of my journey home (Sol). Will set out again tonight.:)

EDIT: Stuck where I am as I (and many others) cant upgrade as I get a validation error.
Hoping for an upgrade to an upgrade :blink:

EDITED EDIT: Upgrade upgraded. Working OK :)

If you look at the system map it will show you where your eagle is mate!!!!!

Also the game is now open to all pre-orders, just tutorials and training missions.

Check your dashboard for details.

As people are getting closer to meet up. Should we all work for reputation with the same faction? Would be awkward if we turned out to be enemies?!

Still 87LY away and no money so going to do some jobs and then continue.

Btw if you run out of fuel your ship will shut down your Life support and then when the air runs out it explodes.  There is no helpful person that turns up to help with fuel!

Yes Verner. I'm suggesting The system Arithon is at above because it has lots of parts and I've run like 30 missions from there, still Neutral Rep though!

Game downloaded, I may even get a chance to fire it up tonight and have a play. :D
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Yay, I'll have time to play this around 8pm :D
What is the recommended ship to travel to Sol with - sidey or eagle?
I'm assuming that I'll need to trade or run missions for cash for fuel.

That's why I've dropped the cargo pod from the Eagle and replaced it with a fuel scoop.

A few minutes skirting through the coronal mass ejections of the local star and you're all topped up again.

Good game tonight. Experiment with "gifting" cargo to Vozzard was partial success!

We've found a set of systems with good trade routes both ways and a reasonable mix of equipped stations.

We will help stragglers get here as we can.
