This is what I was waiting for. I didn't get the Orion because I didn't feel like I would be mining enough to justify it. The prospector seems just right for a little light mining without having to organise crew etc.

Mining in other games always reminded me of space fishing. I want a dinghy and a beer, not a trawler and overheads.

Its grown on me. I've upgraded one of my other ships for this one. Quite like the idea of running a small mining operation with a few ships.

I would be Intrested in running escort when you do the mining if you want some firepower as back up :)
