I've taken John's recommendations (the summary of the GBBF tasting) and added a couple of perennial favourites, then added the two top ciders.    The list should give a lot of coverage of styles etc.  Thoughts?

Vanilla Stout - 5.0% - Binghams - Overall winner - Stout
Darwins Origin - 4.3% - Salopian Brewery - Silver - Bitters   
Golden Triangle - 3.8% - Mosaic City - Gold - Golden Ales   
Hop Bomb - 5.0% - Sadler's Ales -   Pale Ale   
Cwtch - 4.60% - Tiny Rebel - Champion 2015 - Bitter (Red)   
Citra - 4.20% - Oakham - Silver Champion 2014 - Golden Ale   
3 Peace Sweet - 7.50% - Harding - Champion Cider - Medium Sweet Cider   
Oliver's Sweetheart - 6.50% - Cromwell - Medium Sweet Cider   

The above is 8 beers/ciders and I currently have 5 sponsors lined up.   I'm hoping to arm twist the OC into sponsoring 2 or 3 barrels, hence the 8 in the list.    

Gorion & Rogue Taylor will sponsor the ciders and we have a reserve drinks which we might also get if we get a result out of the OC.

I've asked John for his input on the final list and once confirmed will approach the OC with the arm-twisting device fully powered up.

Fantastic work.

I thought we had mentioned a dry cider. Not sure we want two medium sweets. Anyway, let me check my programme when back tonight as in all probability I am totally wrong.

The f.dry one was Radnage Cider's Traditional cider.   I say f.dry and I mean f.dry.  

The only reason I went with those (and the list can be changed), is that cider is not drunk as much as the others and both Gorion and Rogue wanted a cider.   I'm happy for our sponsored barrel to be a dry cider if you want, but we'll have three ciders in the list then, not that this is a problem for me as I drink medium/sweet cider anyway!!   For £60 sponsorship I'm sure DMW can do something to help!

Finally got hold of someone from the Cromwell bar - I was sufficiently ticked off that they put me through to Gary.    He took the list of beers and ciders, plus a couple of reserves and will chase John tonight and come back to me tomorrow.  I've told Gary we're sponsoring 7 and want him to sponsor at least 2.  The list submitted was:

Got hold of John yesterday afternoon.   He is  checking the list to see which can be obtained, he should be calling me back later today to confirm what he has been able to source from the above list.

I also got him to confirm that OC will sponsor 2 barrels for us, so we are now confirmed at 9 sponsored barrels.
