I'm afraid I am going to be standing down as GL and Director of Ops for Star Citizen. I need to get away from gaming at the moment especially a time sink like Star Citizen. Sorry to burden someone else with the role but it's something I need to do.

Cheers.

Hi Smilo

Really sorry to hear this but ... it's only a game and I'm sure we'll sort something out.

More importantly, I sincerely hope that you're OK and that whatever's prompted this gets sorted soon.

I must say that I'm surprised, especially given your recent (very informative) activity, but as the others have said, RL comes first.

Don't worry, we'll sort something out and find someone to keep your spot warm for when you feel better able to return.

Hope all turns out well for you.

Boing. And back.

The thing that was potentially going to effectively end any serious committed gaming from me (work) has developed into something less impactful. I was working on the assumption that the new client I had obtained would require me to be working most evenings. This has not panned out and I'm doing a lot more day work and only working evenings once or twice a week.

I really didn't want to just be playing Star Citizen once or twice a month and so decided to drop Sc completely from my list of played games. But now, while I still can't commit to specific evenings for planned Ops etc. I do intent to play the game as much as work and family life allow. I'm also happy to take on a role etc. if required and have no specific preference.

I'm currently not in the dMw Organisation on the RSI Website though, as I had intended on selling my entire game package.

So put in an application and we'll re-add you!
