The Centre

Hey guys, I'd just like to centralise the talk about the centre to this thread now, new map new start new thread :D

Just wanted to run through a final checklist if thats alright as well, I think there is just one fine tune we need to look at which is:

HarvestHealthMultiplier = ???

I think previously I said to increase it to 1.3? I think I mixed that up and it needs to be on the otherside of the 1 so a value like 0.85 would be better.

What its doing at the moment is increasing the health of the nodes so that you're bashing away for far to long to yield even a small amount of resources, if it needs fine tuning further down the line thats fine, but it formed part of the difficulty curve that was supposed to keep you harvesting less and enjoying more, but I knackered it and made it do the opposite.

Anyone else noticed anything that seems in need of fine tuning by all means speak up :D
It'd be easier to notice once everyone is back on and on TS swearing about something that is broken :D

Ah I wondered why it was taking forever on the test server to get any stone from the rocks...

I'll get that changed shortly.  I'll be changing the servers over so that the new one runs on the old service to make it easier to manager

HarvestAmountMultiplier   float   1.45   

Specifies the scaling factor for yields from all harvesting activities (chopping down trees, picking berries, carving carcasses, mining rocks, etc.). Higher values increase the amount of materials harvested with each strike.

HarvestHealthMultiplier   float   0.80   

Specifies the scaling factor for the "health" of items that can be harvested (trees, rocks, carcasses, etc.). Higher values increase the amount of damage (i.e. "number of strikes") such objects can withstand before being destroyed, which results in higher overall harvest yields.
