Well neither the Professional nor Academic licence allow use for personal/consumer entertainment, so I guess you need to take a view on that yourself!

I think I use flight sims more like a training/education tool, so I feel I'm in the clear there.

I used P3D for entertainment one evening. I reported myself to Lockheed Martin and told them it was purely inadvertent. They were very good about it but gave me a stern warning NOT to have any kind of fun in future. So far I've been able to comply.

lol, very good Doors, i did like your remark over at the Orbx forums as well, about the update, you definitely have not lost your sense of humor. I would have quoted it, but for some reason i now cant access certain areas of the website

P3D + Orbx and that tops 180GB.   Now to slowly start adding the rest of the addons!

I've knocked everything up to ultra/max and I am seeing just the smallest amount of juddering from a lower FPS. I have not looked at how to show FPS yet, but I suspect I need a better graphics card.

I've flown around Alesund with FTX Norway and it looks stunning.

Currently I'm running 2 x GTX770 in SLI, but SLI doesn't seem to have any impact in P3D so in effect I'm running on a single older card rather then the two that are in the PCIe slots.

Anyone interested in buying a couple of GTX770 graphics cards?

I'm getting a (remarkably smooth) 12-15fps with full Orbx and all the settings cranked up, so whilst it is perfectly flyable I definitely need to look for a graphics card with more vram.
