okay lil lan buddies heres the latest news from the busy metropolis that we fenmonkeys call march
the nice people at the griffon will setup 12 6ft trestle tables (so 2 on a table is good with room to spare) and 25 chairs they will also provide tape so we dont kill ourselves on wires etc this will be done friday afternoon
the bar opens at 10:30am saturday
the server is built and working as is the hub (thanx ss and lionheart for the excellent blagging work) and contains the following games unreal tourney, unreal 2003 tourney, americas army, insane (mad driving game)
i dont have a copy of mohaa at the mo so if someone can bring mohaa and the patch as well then that can go on.  that should see us right for a bit. oh yes we're also gonna try a little known game called "campershite" (or something like that cant quite remember!).

as for the rooms some of the rooms will have been occupied fri night and when i asked what time they would be ready she said about 2-3pm (that cleaner is a lazy get!!) bags can be left in reception for those not getting their room straight away all i can say is first come first served, same goes for parking when you enter the car park stick near to the hotel there is parking further round but when i checked the cctv you could only see the cars in the courtyard (it will be obvious when you get there and see)

some basic directions if youre coming into march from the ely/chatteris way then proceed into town where on your right hand side you will see the market in full effect when you see the market take the next right turn and then the next right again (this will bring you to the other side of the market you just saw) follow the road round the right hand corner and you will see an archway on your left drive in there and you will be in the griffon carpark if you drive over the bridge in the middle of town youve gone too far !!

from the peterboro/wisbech direction drive into town until you get to a set of traffic lights where you can go straight on or right (theres only one set and there will probably be a queue. as you go just past the lights there is a big purple shop called piercing crazy too on your left) take the right turn drive through town (woolies and boots the chemist on your left) you will then come to a little bridge over the river take the first left immeadiatly after the bridge and then the first right  (this will bring you to the other side of the market you just saw) follow the road round the right hand corner and you will see an archway on your left drive in there and you will be in the griffon carpark

please dont forget the following
1) extn/4 way plugs
2) headphones
3) your car if youre driving
4) money
5) clothes
6) life insurance(if sharing with smitey/squirrell  )
7) computer/monitor
That is all gents hope everything is covered if not ask someone who gives a shit !!!!
i will be at the venue from about 7.30-8.00am so if ya need anything just ring my moby the number is in the private numbers bit okay GL + HF and ffs drive carefully

Thank you Mr FatBob for that information. However i do feel that you have left out one major important piece of info - local culture.

If you wish to blend in with the natives and take full advantage of the local custom and the goodwill of the cabba...er..ppl and hence retain your life then it is customary to carry a carrot(washed or natural) in the right hand back pocket of trousers.

This is your passport to a safe passage as you wander merrily as a tourist through the atmosperic streets of ye olde Marche on your way to the local Indian/Chinese/Bfast Fryup.

there are 2 pc shoppes in march (lol) and im sure(hahahaha) that they sell stuff at very reasonable prices (LLLOOOOLLLLL) i think a 10 mb isa network card will cost you only your first born child, a goat, anything shiny made of metal and maybe a spleen or two. i've not bin in them so i couldnt say but as a last resort a bargain may be there to be had(LLOOOOOLLLLLL).

You are staying in a hotel with a BAR (hopefully open till late) and playing games until early hours why would you possibly need to go to another pub?
