Phoned my local Costa Coffee. Apparently their in store music is carefully curated by a 3rd party company called Moodmedia I called them up and was put through to Paul Hillyer who is the UK Creative Head. Interestingly he used to be the resident DJ at Cream Liverpool and a radio DJ for Capital Radio. Oddly he has a degree in Aerospace Engineering, bit random for a professional DJ. Anyway after a nice chat I got down to business.

I explained the Whamageddon problem and he was delighted to inform me that Last Christmas was neither licenced nor scheduled for broadcast in any UK Costa Coffee store this year.

I got hit by the local Rotary Club sleigh outside the supermarket on Sunday.

They sit there with a petrol generator pumping exhaust fumes into the main entrance and playing crap on constant repeat.
