admin rights on the cz server

just a suggestion....
would it be possible to give any dmw member some sort of control on the cz server when admin r not around....... :unsure:

It would be possible but not likely.

dMw Admins are appointed carefully to try to ensure that fairplay, teamwork and the mature attitude of dMw are observed on our servers in a professional manner as possible. It's not an easy job and it carries a certain responsibility and a strict code of conduct. I know other clans give all members admin powers on their servers but we take the attitude that that is no solution and can add to problems.

I hope that didn't sound patronising. It wasn't meant to be. In fact, if any Charlie Company member would like to take on the role as an admin (CZ or otherwise) then please PM TL or me. We will treat all applications on merit.

Rite wht vega has said should be strongly considered! As on the cz server i was playing and it was me and 4 bots vs about 3 other guys and 4 bots! I told ninja about this and he agreed! I asked them to even out teams but they did not listen! at! As vega says i think we should be able to vote maps or kick ppl for misbehavior as by the time an sdmin if on is contacted the culprates have got anyway  :( I agree that 1 or two charlie members should be cz admins i vote red,duvel,ice hawk,snooks,fatal and JAS!

To be a dMw Server admin requires years of apprentiship under a mighty Admin Master. Then there is the painful and humiliating initiation ceremony. And finally the obligatory huge cash bribe. Only then can one become a member of the Dark Circle and have revealed to them the ancient rituals and techniques of Administration.

Added to which, if we had loads of Admins then I wouldn't feel special and loved any more  :(

If you need an admin online you can just use MSN/Friendssystem/Irc/ICQ or whatever. Usually it isn't hard to find an admin. Otherwise, post the SteamID and so and let them take care of it. I know, it sounds a bit like the adminning in Cigs but it helps.

I have been an admin when i was in cigs just like duvel.

But just like then i'm not asking for any rights because now i know it is a heavy job. And if they need more admins they may ask. they already have a yes but they can get a no :whistle:


And i don't have CZ so what is the point me as admin for CZ :blink:  :lmfao:

Yep, I remember that time, alot of whining about adminabuse not good adminning, not lots of times online etc......
One of the reasons I left aswell.
Don't get me wrong, I would like to do it and maybe others will aswell but think about the responsibility.

Im usualy around my PC most of the time. Feel free to shout up if you need an admin to pop on......

Please consider that the server is a public so a little slack should be granted please treat the guests with respect  

As for map changes ect ...just ask if im on ill bang on whatever you want as long as no other players are on the server  :)
