Biggest difference will be directx9 compatability I guess seeing as The GF4 cards were pretty fast :)  My Ti4200 was lightning!

Looks like my upgrade is on hold :(

Just had to order a new central heating system (boiler, radiators, the lot) plus I need to order a laptop for my daughter (she suffers from ADD and it will help her in school) <- anyone know of any way to get tax relief or something when buying kit for medical/educational reaons?????

Anyone got an MX400 for sale? :(

Sorry to hear about the lack of upgrade :(

You should be able to buy the 'student' version of MS software and that should save you some money.  As for tax relief, no I'm afraid that there isn't anything like that available under current legislation, you just have to make sure that all appropriate benefits are being claimed (Child Tax Credit/Working Tax Credit and any that a child qualifies for, if any).  I attach a general guide to the benefits if anyone is interested.

Well, the first part of my graphic card upgrade went ahead successfully yesterday when I bought my daughter a laptop (Compaq Presario R3000) which should do her through secondary school. The second part of the upgrade will now take place on August 9th and 10th when we get the new central heating installed :(

Won't be in stock for 1 to 2 weeks but Dabs are doing them for (get this) £263 for the 6800 Gamer Edition (256Mb 6500 GT)!!!!!
