Choose the internet section of find servers ,then keep refreshing it untill dmw cs : s shows up (its near the top if sorted by ping)

You have to do this within cs: s not from steam on your task bar.

Server had crashed. Don't know when. The error points to the known problem of servers crashing out due to multiple 'join' attempts.

VALVe are promising a fix within a couple of days.

Err, this may be a stupid question, but how do you get the consol up to run the connect command?  :huh:
All I get it the options screen, find server, create server, report bug, video stress test, options and quit !!  :(
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Think you got to enable it.go to options,keyboard,advanced ;) enable developer mode

I shocked myself and managed to get on to the server.


Then some nonce was running around with an AWP so I left.

Don't forget you can add parameters by selecting properties from the game menu. From there you can add:

 -console 1

This will start the game with the console active, ready for you to type in our IP  :)

Iv'e just been into the server and if you type the address as 193.110.88.19:27016 it will let you put it in your FAVS

yup, I've just been on using the .19 address. get nothing from the .20 address. most odd.
