How to get the lowest ping to our servers!

I'll be ordering ADSL before the end of next week and had been planning to use Hi-V.  I just hope they've got the performance sorted as there still seems to be some issues according to the Hi-V forum

I'll say this much - whether this has peed off those on Hi-V, having an actual named person updating the customers in detail at every stage of the game is better than most I've seen. I could almost hear the tears in Mark's eyes when the friday fix was deferred to Monday...

Watching the saga unfold has been highly entertaining. I'm on the edge of my seat with excitement waiting to hear that it has been a success for all the dMw users.

Although I'm not with Hi-V I was watching what went on and the way things unfolded. I must say that I don't think I have ever seen an ISP handle a situation like that better. Much praise to them.

The final changes have gone through.  At least, I hope they are the final changes.

My connection is currently looking clean as a whistle with a nice 22ms ping to the server.

Strangely mine havn't been to bad the last 2 days.

Mine is crud tonight. I'm running a pingplotter trace and it's sitting solidly over 100ms for last 10 mins

It's been like that all night but only started tracing 10 mins ago after match - all other hops on route are sub 30ms

It works!!!  

Now on 1MB Hi-Velocity and can't believe the difference ( just downloaded 39MB update in few minutes ). Get online later cause I want to see what CZ is like with a good connection  :clap:  :woot2:  :rumpy:  :thumbsup:
