I can hardly be bothered to write about this. But to save anyone from wasting their money....it is not funny, Which was kind of the idea. Apart from one or two laugh out loud jokes it is total dross. Do not believe the nonsense reviews printed on the DVD box. They are all 'Paul Ross' type paid for lies.

Leave it.

...I thought it was funny :narnar: but you do have to be in the right sort of mood for the humour ;)

Agreed, I found it quite amusing as well.  But then you either like or loathe the stuff that Parker and Stone put out.

I've always liked South Park, and this also mines the tactless/offensive humour vein.  I personally think it's worth seeing just as a showcase for the puppetry.

Compared to the genius of Southpark this was weak. Maybe it was because we know what Trey Parker is able to produce that Team America is so poor.

That being said the sex scene was inspired.

Best film i have seen in years i was almost crying with laughter. To be honest though yes it is an acquired taste and is different from south park but alot of humour is. From the first few trailers i thought it could be completely rubbish but after watching it twice i can't wait to buy it on dvd. A classic in my mind ;)

ChimpBoy

Not nearly as good as South Park The Musical.

It goes far more for shock value than being decent satire.  And that's why it probably won't bear repeated viewings, unlike South Park.

Although I still chuckle whenever the "..... miles from America" captions come up, and it is impressive to have a complete movie with mannequins.
If I wanted you to understand I would have explained it better

DuVeL

Not as good as SouthPark the movie but still funny when watched with a few beers down the hatch.

I also saw Sin City today and that was loads better.
