p.s. real life is weird. though i already knew that.

this evening i asked to be demoted to soldier, and i just wanted to quickly explain why. the recent issues and changes in RG2 have made me question what i want from this game as it is, after all, just a game. i haven't been enjoying myself as much as i had been in raids, and i just think a break is in order. i do hope this break isn't permanent, and i absolutely hope that someday soonish there will be a spot for me somewhere in SOG.

i want to point out that i love this guild, am proud to be part of it, and that i'm sorry if i cause even more harm to RG2 by stepping down at such a crucial time.

i will still be attending the speed run on sunday night, as i'm so excited to be asked to be part of it. perhaps bad timing, but hopefully it will help to alleviate the weirdness of not being part of raid.

so all that's left now is to figure out what to do with my tuesday and thursday nights for the next few weeks...

but just out of curiosity, how many druids do we still need? obviously i can't speak for RG1, but we have 7 druids in RG2 even with sandrion stepping down, and druid attendance seems to be consistently high.

so i was looking at bramblewood and sylvan gear, and was wondering which i should choose. there's 10 more NR with sylvan and +37 heal/dmg that bramblewood doesn't have. it does have 3 less stam and 144 less armour than the leather set, and i admit that 37 healing isn't all that much, but it does make me think a bit.

any other thoughts?

i don't think i'll be able to make the raid tonight, have some issues i need to sort before i can even think of logging on. hopefully it'll all work out.

hmm think i'm more of the lazy type hehe. i did manage to get photek installed and running, but gave up because of the druid config rubbish (that i tried to do before but failed at miserably). pre-made files sounds great. i will indeed give you a shout. ty.

ok all you photek users, i'm trying to set it up but having issues. i followed all the directions, and then when i load up WoW i only get some of the addons (none of the photek ones but only the ones i put into the addons folder myself). so what the heck am i doing wrong?
