I need inspiration. Give me a theme or some kind of idea and I'll do them.

Since this is a site started by games other than racing (if I am not mistaken) how about some of the monsters, dead men, armour that abound in the other games played online? Maybe something like a "World of Warcraft" chariot style, just look at the banner at the top of this page, right hand side, to get my idea. They should be brownish-redish with silvery white writing, the writing not very "technological" (see what I mean?)

hi folks, thought I´d drop by since Steam closed shop for most of Friday night (power failure in the US of A) and I couldn't get on RACE. Racing with Dead Men was spiffing as ever, lfs is not forgotten!

I hate to be a miserable git, no really, I do! But this is more of the same SimBin/10tacle/ISI stuff and I just can't get along with it. I've resisted GTR2 and I'm going to resist this one as well. Pretty though.

Well, I guess that`s down to personal taste, isn`t it? As for me, I rather fancy the balancing act required to get your simbin cars round the track. It`s a pity though, without your own skins I was racing ten Andy Priaulx`s in Macau (before I crashed, that is) and that certainly is bizarre.

well, as far as I can see (and I´m a tech nightmare) there are no car files on my harddrive it`s all flown in from cyberspace every time you hook up to the net, the only files in the RACE folder are the uninstall files! So how on earth am I going to do a skin? as for ripping and modding, that is way beyond my capabilities I just picked up online lament, trying to make you folks believe I played in another league ... Doing skins is as far as it goes.

Hi folks, I guess you won`t see much of me on LFS in the next few days since I`m busy playing the brandnew RACE game from SimBin. It`s a GTR2 clone with great tracks (MACAU anyone?) and intense racing. I am no good at GTR 2 so I usually end up losing 7 sec. / lap! Online racing is brilliant, the whole thing has just one (huge big tremendous) drawback: It`s a STEAM title, so no way this is going to be modded or skinned or ripped. It`s a pity, I was looking forward to doing the blue Huff Chevrolet in a nice dark Jag green ...
Still, if you have money to burn, test it, it`s f... brilliant.

thank goodness i only participated in one of those ugly races and - thank goodness again - got through past one of the idiots as we barged down on him three abreast. however, since this is a (very) public space, there`s always going to be some form of lewd and indecent behaviour, sealing the space off would make it cozy but also barren, so lets just stick to kicking the odd fool and having a great time in between.

oh dear, i was just one lap short of my first ever victory on this server, pitted alright, survived awful crash with doormann (sorry for that, got pushed in the back :ranting2: and had to go straight through sandtrap), saw old bloke lose his line in lap 9 and then ... stupid server crashed! i`ll be back to grab that win!!!
