Ferrari 458 @ Vallelunga 1.49.47 on street tyres is my offering.  Yes, lots of under-steer.

I got it! :)

There are a few faults that take away the immersion for me, but it's early days yet and I'm looking forward to what this can become.

The tracks are new to me too, so learning them makes it interesting, nowhere near your lap times yet.

Thank you, Thank you,

We are waiting for the final results to be updated on their site to confirm mine, and the teams final position.

We had 12 races throughout the year, I managed 3 wins, and 1 fastest lap (=more points)

Thanks to Jamin for arranging the same track combo's as the OLFSL for practice, and don't forget our own dMr league race every Thursday, I'll see you there!  :racing:

Yay! Thanks for the support.  And thanks Lameduck who was on Teamspeak letting me know what cars in front that hadn't pitted, and the ones I was racing for position.

Replay here

I was pushing for 2nd but hit the wall in the last but one lap, then just couldn't hold sccc:mauni off, to finish 4th.

My current standing: 18th
dMr current standing: 12th (out of 46!)

Sorry you couldn't make it Naldo, you missed an incident packed race.  Seany seemed to stay out of trouble though and took the win, well done Seany :)

I too didn't realize it was the OLFS league race this weekend, I have managed to set a qualifying time, and its good we can have the FOX and City Chicane for our next combo, I can get a few days practice in  :norty:

Thanks for the comments, and apologies for lack of updates.

A few days ago was round 4, the MRT at South City Classic. I was glad we had the MRT that week for our dMr weekly 1 hour race so I had lots of practice  . Enough to see me qualify in pool 2.  I started 4th, lost a few places in the beginning, then had great fun fighting my way back up what was an action packed race, with the leading 3 taking themselves out! I eventually finished with a podium 2nd

Replay:  pool2_race1.mpr

Overall standings I'm 18th/122 racers.  :D

Was a tough rally endurance which saw the suspension taking a pounding.  Engine damage and disconnections saw 50% of the field drop out, unlucky disco for Slider46 again!

I was out in front until I pitted early, coming back out to have a great fight with Seany.  I managed to get past, I hadn't repaired my suspension but it held together long enough for me to take the win  :yahoo:

Unfortunate incident between Bob and Lameduck,  sorry to see you go Bob.

Myself and BobtheBike have started the season.  The result for the first race is up on the OLFSL site, showing me with a win in pool 5 :yahoo:

The race started with me on pole, BobtheBike in 13th (unlucky number?) There was an incident at turn 1, then again at turn 2 where some numpty went on a crashfest and ruined a number of cars, including Bobs. Shortly after that, Bob suffered a disconnection   unlucky Bob.

I was also tapped on lap 1 in the hairpin, minimal damage, but then hit the wall at the top of the hill damaging my front left wheel.  I suffered the whole race for that as that wheel does a lot of work around South City Town.  I managed to regain my 1st place on the next lap and held on for the remaing 27 laps. My challenger [AD] Tom coming close a few times.

I'm interested and would like to have a go.

The races are not every week, so that doesn't seem so bad.

Quote from: Lameduck;319436If the vote is for random, we wont require a quali session will we?

We will for the first race, then whoever gets pole and stays there gets the advantage on points.

No pitting sounds a blast, and reversed grid. :)

Live for Speed / Format change?

I've had an idea, it may be the beer I've drunk, or there was too much cheese on my pizza, but...

We have a mix of cars on track all week, eg. when we next run the UF1, we also have the XFG and XRG too.  I know the other two are faster, but people can drive what they like.  Then on Thursday only people racing the UF1 will be eligible for dMr points.  It may take a bit more work to see who gets the points and know what car we supposed to be driving, but I think it can be done.
