Hey guys,

I figure i better give you an "official" stating concerning my little break here.

By the look of it, will it be more a "stop" than a "break" - i don't feel like comming back as it is, I haven't missed WoW whatsoever, since I took this break.

I think it's the same for Zam, he haven't really played much lately either.

I'ts been a very pleasent stay, and IF i'd come back - i'd definantly apply for DmR again!!!

So thanks for being friendly and awsome!...and we might meet again sometime (i'll still make sure you continue being mischievious on the forum btw)

Regards
Parv :taz:

PS: I'll probably log on once in a while until april 18th where my gametime ends!

I'm recieving a newsletter once in a while, called "lousy pun of the day", as the name states, is a newsletter filled with...well lousy puns.

This week, one of them was:

"The canadian government recently anncounced its intention to fight and defeat the extremist elements within its borders, in what has been termed: ‘The war Ontario’"

I think that one fits well into the lousyness of the other puns ;)

DMR Members Only / A small update
January 21, 2009, 08:35:56 PM
Right, so im on this rather unvoluntary break from WoW - but to be honest, then i'm not really in any rush to get back.

As much as I love chatting until your ears fall off, I don't really miss the game right now. I've just started a new job, with more hours (and more gold too!!), and theres so much other stuff happening at the moment, so i'll take a small break.

I'll most probably be back again before you know it!

See ya'll soon!
Cheers, parv

World of Warcraft - Dead Men Raiding / UI Help
January 14, 2009, 09:11:08 AM
It may be because I've been too much of a noob to adjust it - but when i tried Arkinventory it either filled up half my screen - or the bags were so small i coul'nt really see what was in them (when i adjusted them to the size I wanted).

I'm aware that ArkInventory can do much more than Bagnon -which was why i decided to test it, but for me Bagnon just does the job, while looking better imo.
But alright, im aware that I've might jump to conclusions without giving it a fair chance - but it didn't seem to suit me, I thought there was too much "waste of space", even after adjusting the frames and such.

If you could post a picture of how your arkinventory looks i'd appriciate it - mostly to find out if im a noob or just "a bagnon fan" :)

I really like
  • ZOMGbuffs - it reads "your buffing pattern" and then reminds you to rebuff - all you gotta do is click the icon. I constantly forget to rebuff when i solo - so its really helpful (and good to use as a shortcut on raiding)

  • FactionFriend - it changes your rep bar to the faction you gain reputation with, automatically. It also tells you how much rep you'll gain from your current repitems in your inventory/bank :)

  • Bagnon - makes your inventory into one big bag. It also tells you which items you have on other alts (if you mouseover an item or a link). Some others uses ArkInventory - I personally don't like that because its either huge or impossible to see (but thats a super subjective opinion! :D)

  • recipebook - It can tell you who of your alts can learn the pattern - or if they got it already. Furthermore if colorcodes the recipes on AH or at a vendor, depending on if you got them or not.

  • If you like fishing i can recommend Fishingbuddy

  • Chatter - alternates the look of the chat. You can also choose to get "class color" in chat, so fx. a mage is blue. It also opens a box for links, so you can copy paste it. I'm not sure if this is a "pure game" or a chatter thing: If someone writes "inv" you just have to click the word and they get an invite.

I suggest, that once you get back into everything, and figure out what you need and what you want - go search Curse and perhaps try a few out. I've found a *lot* of neat addons that way :)
