Yes. I play DayZ, but find it hard to get a good server to the point where I am thinking of running my own . Survivor longevity is really my main priority so PvP orientated servers are not really my bag. Unfortunately I have lost more toon's to server resets/shutting down than I have zombies or bandits :eyebrow:

Yes, good games last night. I had a friend who was playing on my PC last night too, so sorry if anyone was wondering "what the hell is outland doing". Also, I cant seem to get TS working.... if I can get it to work will I get the "BC2 player" badge? :-D

 I have TS3 installed, but I cant seem to use it properly. I entered the proper server details and such stuff and I find myself on some sort of "thing" with 100's of random names, none of which looked familiar with a computerised voice saying several times a second "user left channel" or "user joined channel". I was kinda expecting a small list with a few named "rooms" to join. Can anyone help please?

Interesting topic this one. There is alot more to each class then just the gun your carrying, as im sure your all aware of. Like some people have said im sure somepeople play as medic because thats the class with the belt fed machine guns. Recon is a much underestmated class I think its much more than just a scoped high power rifle.... to many snipers, especially on rush mode however are not particularly helpful. What makes BC2 interesting is that you dont get to play the same class all the time if you want to help your team win.

As for my favourite class, that would probably be recon if you go by stats. But I must admit I am quite keen on the shotguns loaded with magmun sabots.

Outland here. I used to play ALOT of CoD4 with dMw and im now here playing ALOT of BC2, now that I have found the dMw server. Still not sure if I should be using the dMw tag like I did with CoD4? Also I was wondering if there is somewhere I can go on the forum/someone I can ask about DL-ing and installing TS3, I know is probably very very simple but im a bit thick so bear with me on that one. And finally, how do I put a nice little piccy under my profile name? Actually, just one more thing. After I have joined a BC2 server (any BC2 server) I get DC-ed after about 20mins, this only happens once, untill I exit the game that is.

I have something I would like to add if I may.

Firstly when you talk about "Breakout" is this a new map your reffering to? If it is its a new one on me.

So, to the point I was going to make... Sniping on the map "Bog".
The two teams spawn on each end of the map out of view of the opposing team.
You can make the choice not to move out into the middle of the map and into the snipers line of fire.
Its possible... easy infact to exit the spawn points and not get spotted by a sniper.
Both teams can have snipers.
Throw smoke to cover you and your team.
Personally I enjoy sniping on Bog, but I must admit I do find it a tad unsporting when im killing off half of a six strong team from the get go. But on the other hand I do wonder why no smoke or shooting back is going on. Maybe my opinion is bias though because Bog is one the few maps where I have managed a double headshot from one round fired. :narnar:

Well, looks like the problem is my end, CoD4 is still up the creek :angry:. I re-installed game and patches, checked hardware (looked to see if all the things like fans were still plugged in properly), de-fragged my HHD and did a full virus scan (nothing truned up). My framerate is still bouncing between 7-8fps and 40ish every half a second or so, weird thing is the other games I play such as Company of Heros and CoD world at War (yes I really do play and enjoy it) both of which are pretty much as demanding as CoD4 work just fine:eyebrow:.
