Aye similar story for me. First race for a year and was having a blast until I was spectated when trying to get myself pointed in the right direction (about five minutes from the end, lol). Maybe a touch of love returning for the old girl that is LFS?

I hadn't driven a single seater for over a year prior to the 20-30 laps practice during the week. It wasn't hard to tell tbh :crying:

Dismal lap 1 spinning out at the chicane, and it was all downhill from there

I seemed to be the only one having spins and crashing, you guys are all far too consistent. I also need to get better at pit stops. When trying to adjust the fuel top up, I accidentally changed the rear downforce to 21 and repair damage from no to yes. Another 30 sec gone during pit.

Mighty fine race, well done to all cos I expected a bit more carnage than there was

Started off on the first stint and made an error to let Cueball thru about lap 3, we then spent the next ten laps nose to tail battling for position. Great driving mate :thumb:

Stopped at half way but made the mistake of changing tyres (on top of the other mistake of running my R4 set instead of the R3) and I think that time cost me dear come the final positions.

Second set of tyres were much better and I was consistantly 1sec a lap faster. Tut tut, I'll have to have a word with Evostar about their QA

I think I've just been lucky with the combo choices so far, I firmly expect to be back in my default midfield position before long.

Certainly remember a few of you guys from the CTRA days, and I've been looking for some substitutes to fill that gap. Looks like I might have landed on my feet here

Joined the GTAL, OLFSL and taken part in a couple of the NDR events, but it's nice to have the release the dMr server offers.

ps - anyone who does a bit of rock climbing might recognise where the     HVS5b comes from, but Rooster is what my mates call me.

I've just joined up after enjoying the last couple of Thursday night races on your LFS server. There was a really good standard of driving, everybody very fair but certainly not giving any places away cheaply!

The combo changes each week are going to force me to try (with varying degress of failure :doh:) these combos new to me, which in turn will freshen up LFS a bit.

Also like the way you seem to encourage drivers of all abilities, so long as they are respectful racers. Not always the case elsewhere.........

Anyway, I hail from Edinburgh and I'm here to cause some more mid-field battles
