Mr Blunt suggested I come here to post about a small upcoming FPS title called Rekoil as the dev team are trying to it on Steam, but need votes via Steams Greenlight system to do that.

The game will be in beta first week october and voting and favouriting the game will get you access if you follow these instructions:

How are you guys doing for Sunday?  Do you think you have a team or should we postpone for a week?

Assuming that our match server (or yours) can be password protected, we were thinking of 8v8 Rush on the Metro map (as most people would have played it and kind of know their way around).

The last I read about the servers was that all servers are currently Ranked - no unranked servers on release due to a tech issue, and that setting a game password might not be possible.  If that is the case for sunday, we'll have to re-arrange.

Probably looking at 7.30 pm UK time if thats ok?

Add me on steam as Gleedo (appears as =TOGA=Zero) or on Origin as ZeroLG if you would like

If we can't get something going this sunday, then for sure soon after.

Just wanted to swing by and say thanks for the fun scrim last night and also to apologize for the miss-communication with regard to the rules (or lack of).

I saw that Quic posted in the scrim thread on our forum that we would play our public server rules, but I told him on TS that our public server rules are not suitable for scrims and to update you guys on this change.  I guess he forgot, so sorry for that again.

All our players enjoyed it and were very upbeat about the match after the game finished.  We must do it again sometime soon

I take it you guys used pbbans anti-cheat service on some of your servers?

This comes on the heels of a recent denial of service attack on their site. Details are sketchy at this time as no official announcement has been made however the topic for their IRC channel states " PBBans 2003-2009 Farewell All--It has been a great ride!" Also after being asked how much money would fix it a top admin simply said " it's not just money anymore it's lack of time and willingness"

The loss of PBBans Master Player Index coupled with the recent loss of Yawn will make player tracking in ET increasingly difficult. Whether your a fan of PunkBuster or not this is truly a sad day for anticheat as PBBans provided a top notch service & will be missed by those who made use of it."  :cry:  :cry:  :cry:

Hello all

Thought id drop by and say hello.  I am leader of a new "tactical" COD5 clan called the 14st Task Force.

I found out about this place from Snokio who ive been playing some games with on our server recently

Our style of play on our COD5 servers is NOT run and gun as there are thousands of those out there already.

We play a much slower paced style that is called 'Crouch' or 'Tactical'.  Basicaly you crouch to move or if you follow the rules strictly - walk with sights up.  You can only run to evade direct enemy fire and artillery.

The servers are well policed in terms of admins removing idiots and rule breakers (after 1 or 2 warnings).  The regular players on the server then can enjoy a good game without having to complain about rule breakers:)



We dont have COD4 as we are too small to run more than one game at the moment, so i'll swing by your cod4 servers soon with some of my members :woot2:
