@jas

np, I always like to help. So if any time (and by any time I mean ANY TIME) you feel like you need help with LFS, just ring me up and I'll be there :lol:
The problem is you have to use digital input for gas/brake which can only be compensated with interval (stutter) gas/brake. The Ideal combination thus would be mouse steering with pedals for gas and brake. Dunno exactly if it's possible with LFS, at least I'm not that obsessed that I'd try to figure it out. I just like my current setup for LFS which really is a lot of fun.
@smite: nice to hear, but please be concious that I don't want to motivate you to break my WR - please do not do that or I'll be forced to spend countless hours on gaining some additional tenth - please save me some time
What you're saying about the first splits looking good but screwing up the last one is pretty closely what I'm experiencing often. It just makes you think "well, it's now or never, I got to make this one perfect" and OF COURSE you'll screw it up then because it's most likely you'll overdo. You have to remind yourself that you can always re-do what you have just done and there's no pressure on you to make it THIS time. If you can't get this pressure off you, you'll never be able to finish a perfect lap
Good luck on doings some fast hotlaps

QuoteI find it realy impressive that you use a mouseHmm, well... using mouse really has some advantages. It enables you to do some very fast steering corrections, you can turn the virtual wheel in much less time than you could do with a real steering wheel.
