My name is David, I currently live in London. I work as a credit derivative quant developer in a large bank. When not working... or cycling or playing sport etc... I have a very understanding financé who seems to allow me to spend time playing on the computer!

i currently have a 16MB connection with o2
What are the core specs of your computer?
To be honest, it's quite dated. I'm considering upgrading. It handles 25mans ok, but the graphics have to be turned quite low
How long have you been playing computer ames and what kind?
I played WoW from 2005, before that mainly just on consoles
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
Between both charas (druid as a tank), I've done the first wing in ICC10, TOC10/25, VOA10/25, Ony10/25, some of Ulduar/Nax. Did Kara in TBC, and a few runs of ZG,MC in vanilla
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
Mostly did pvp with friends, so no serious guild experience.
Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Also have a Warr, soon to be 80 hopefully (75 at the moment)... his name is Fizzybubbly
What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state
Would like to see more content, and have fun raiding. Note, I'm only applying for a social membership, as with work there's unfortunately no way I'd ever be able to commit to a raid schedule.
Pretty easy going, but try to contribute as much as I can.
I had a big break from the game (over a year) and returned just as patch 3.3 was released, am really enjoying being able to do instances without waiting around for ages, and there's a lot of variety at the moment and it's much more sociable than it used to be (from my perspective at least).

Why did you decide to play this class?
Played as a Warr initially in vanilla (got about 40 days on him), before rolling a lock for pvp. Played them both evening in tbc. When I started playing again in wotlk I wanted to try something new, so leveled up a druid - initially intending to be a healer. Didn't really enjoy healing, so made her into a tank, probably my favorite role. One of my friends who I play with also has a tank, so decided I needed some dps, and opted to gear up my lock. Really enjoying playing both of them now, and wish I had more time! God help me when I get the warr to 80 as well...
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Tend to average around 5k dps on the lock, though can spike much higher in certain instances.
The druid is fine for most raids, though struggled recently when I tried ICC25. Hits around 55k HP when raid buffed, and 45% (?) ish dodge (though idol procs all the time, so in reality it's higher)
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
For the lock, I've tried all of the specs, and this one does most damage for me. I also prefer this play style, as faster spells compared to demo, and bigger numbers compared to affli :-P. Though happy to provide raid buffs as demo (which is my offspec) when it makes sense.
For the druid, it's the standard tanking build. Have a kitty offspec, but unfortunately I have to share a number of pieces of equipment with the tank spec, so it's not all gems/encht best for kitty. Managed to put 5k dps on Lord Jaxx in TOC25 - but generally I don't stray far from the bear. Haven't tried resto much outside of HCs, my healing set is ok, but needs some work.

Looking for a fun group of people. Would be nice to clear content, but I want to have fun more than clear bosses.

Initially I think of the Undertaker from WWE! Though I quite like it, not pretentious, but not too silly.

I struggle to get offended by things said over the internet, or in general to be honest. Would probably just ignore it. Otherwise I'd tell them to behave.
