Well, it's not like i'm a new face here, (if there are still any doubts, yes, i did get accepted more then a year ago http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?30898-lvl-80-mage-rogue-paladin-shaman-lock-DK./page2 ) but still it's time for a new application for a raidspot.

As I've heared, both RGT and RGW are looking for a hunter, and as officers know, RL has changed quite a bit for me the last few months, which made it impossible for me to get a good attendance for RGT.
So, I'd like to apply with my hunter ( http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/aszune/Mythhunt/simple ) for RGW. Monday, wednesday and sundayevenings would fit a lot better, and this way it'd be possible again for me to contribute a bit to the guilds progress.

If it's needed/wanted that i update the previous questionslist, let me know, but i don't think that much has changed, besides the new characters ^o)

well, let's just keep it simple then:
i did every ****ing thing that was asked of me, concidering the 3 chars, i did plenty. When i showed up, i did better then most. So seemed pretty unfair that I had to prove that I was "prepared" while others who were already raiding still should? With this in mind, every raid i was in, i got rotated out, while others stayed. So yeah, attendance slacking, putting a frustratring post here, kinda connects the dots? So yeah, about the officers effort to organise everything, congrats, but then again: it's not only the officers who made an effort and should be acknowledged for it

after doing it with 3 chars befor being able to raid with 1, it is.

for several weeks now, i have noticed the same people are going to the same raids, leaving the ones who havent been selected any chance of gearing up further.

i have asked in guild, what does the raid need ? i`ve not got a reply yet, yes i am willing to make another character my main, but i`ve had  zero feed back on this, some feedback on this situation would be helpful, as there`s  more than me in this situation.

if it may be a comfort, you aren't the only one who feels this way.

for me, for the few (parts of) raids i've participated, it's been first a real B*TCH to get into.
First I wanted to raid as retri paladin, but got a well formed excuse about replying on forum. Then with my mage, got another well formed excuse that there were more then enough mages.
Then with my rogue. I'll just sum up the requirements, which'll be easier:

• Get XXX GS
• Make sure you are above +10k dps
• Get everything enchanted
• get the EXALTED enchants for head & shoulders
• Know tactics
• ...

pretty sure i forgot some, and pretty sure some of those requirements are fair.
But guess my surprise when, during my first raid, i was in the top 2-3 for dps, and i got the hang of tactics a lot faster then most. So ok, thinking you're on a roll, after few wipes: let's head to another place, sorry myth, YOU gtg. (so... about 5-6 persons to pick from, and ofc, they pick the person who's in his first cata raid. prolly coincidence)
So, let's give it another go, another (partial raidinvite) again the same boss, again the same wipefest, again the same location change, again the same player change. And this continues for few more parts of raids. Seemed like i only got in for my sprint on a boss that was certain to be a wipefest. But hey! I did get into the raidgroup for other bosses, which were pretty much on farmlvl, but then again, i was listed in group 7 or 8. So yeah, there's a rotation, sure. But the question still remains: what kind of rotation.

so, amber, really, you're not the only one with doubts about how things are going here. But then again, I had my glorydays at the end of WoTLK, when some ppl took a break. And yes, I mean the ppl who got back with cata, got back on the A-list with prio on everyone who isn't on there.

And I just got it! he flew over in Wetlands... :-/ everything first turned red, and then: poof! flames! Dead!

If it will be like the release of BC, it will take 1 hour per quest. You know, 20 spawn points, quest is: "Get 10 items of xyz", droprate 20%, and 500 people running on 1 square pixel trying to tag the next mob :blink:

Oh, and the framerate will be 1 frame per 5 seconds with a latency in the 5 digits.

well, the beta was like that, altho it was only like that in the starting areas, so why would it be any different at release? but again: will it stop anyone from playing?

Remember you get 200% rested the whole time in Beta at the moment so real levelling is slower.

seriously? that sux... oh well, i know the drill now, so make it 1.5 week at a slower rate

well, i lvled my paladin from 80 - 85 in like one week of normal play (not HC play), without the use of any instances in the beta. So i guess i'll do about the same when cata gets released ^o)

Time for a holiday! My plain leaves on the 8th and i'll be gone for aprox one month. Thought it might be useful to mention this, since I'm *kouch* such a valuable player in raids *kouch* ^^

Hope u'll manage to pwn the LK on 25 without me ^^ and I hope you'll all enjoy your holiday as much as i will mine.
