You
Who are you? My in-game name's Drapht, real life name Sean
Where are you from? Originally from Australia but living in Birkenhead - long way from home!
How old are you? 28
What kind of work do you do? At the moment, I work as a a Resourcing Business Partner for a Managed Agency......yeah, that is as exciting as it sounds! Happily though, I applied to join Liverpool uni on a Psychology Degree from September and got accepted - no more office work for me!
What's your situation at home like? Currently living with my girlfriend so my situation is very stable!
What kind of internet connection do you have? 10 mb connection
What are the core specs of your computer?
Windows Vista
3 ghz, Dual Core Processor
2 Gb RAM
512 Mb Graphics Card
Not really sure what else you'd need to know!
How long have you been playing computer games and what kind? I've been playing computer games since I was a kid, staring off with a good old Commodore 64 - loved that machine! After that it was consoles before moving to PC gaming back in the late 90's. Since then, i've played various games but for the sake of this application, i've been playing WoW for about 2 years now.
What kind of raiding experience do you have? My raiding experience is pretty wide ranging, i've just completed ICC25 on normal mode and cleared some of the Heroic modes as well. On ICC10 i'm still to do Prof Putricide, Sindragosa and the LK. With regards to earlier raids, i've completed Ony, OS, EoE, ToC both 10 and 25-man and i've been going back to earlier classic and BC raids to help out other people and get the achievement for myself!
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on? Originally, I was with Dragon Hearts of WoW but left to join a raiding guild. Then joined Gnomish Nightmare, a 10-man only raiding guild but then left to join Closure as I was looking to start 25-man raiding. I then left there to join Been There Done That with a couple of friends of mine.
At the moment i'm still with Been There Done That as a Trial member but to be honest, apart from raid nights there isn't much going on - no-one's talking in guild chat much, no extra raids etc. I guess that's what i'm looking for, a guild where a bit more is happening and where there isn't as much elitism!
Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you? I've got no alts at all.
If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you. N/A
What are your plans for the game? Well, i'm always up for raiding the new content and going back to the older content to help levelling characters etc. but at the moment i'm just wiling my time away by trying to get the 'Loremaster' achievement and also the Profession achievements. I'm looking forward to the new expansion and the changes that it will bring to the Resto character!
In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Well, hey, this is a bit like an interview type question - always the part that I get a bit tongue tied at! About myself, i'm easy going, up for a laugh and looking for a guild that mixes raiding with a fun attitude! I like to chat in GC, get to know people, run dungeons whenever needed, raid if possible generally just have fun in game, there's nothing like a bit of escapism now and then!
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state. It's not a change but i'd like a raid group finder for raids like Ony and OS, those raids that don't take hours to get through! It used to take me ages when I first dinged L80 to get through them!

Why did you decide to play this class? To be honest, originally it was because of the tree spec! Shameful I know, but when I first started playing I saw some guy running round as a tree and I thought i'd like to be a tree......wow, that's a dodgy statement and a half! Apart from that, I levelled as a Resto Druid and I enjoyed the fact I could get into most groups, instances and raids because of it!
What do you think your class' role is in raid content? Apart from the obvious healing, not much else to be honest! Seriously though, that is the role I chose and so in a raiding context, it's all about keeping people topped up and as far away from dying as possible! I have the VuhDo add-on which helps in my healing a hell of lot, enabling me to target those areas where threat is highest whilst trying to keep myself out of the danger areas as well!
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? I chose this build as, to be honest, it's the build I first started with when I dinged L80 and i've been able to work with it since! I'm reaching the Hard Haste cap, slowly but surely, and can fire out Nourish in 1.03 seconds if required at the moment. My spell power is at around 3200 bonus when in tree form so i'm pretty happy with how everything works!
What do you think of other builds of your class? They're good if I was looking to hit the soft haste cap.
Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question) I want to get to the hard haste cap at some point and with a few armour changes this should happen. With regards to the

What do you look for in a guild? I'm looking for a fun and friendly raiding guild that doesn't just want to push through all of the hard modes at an insane rate! Also, the GMT helps as well - it'd be cool to join a guild that understands that I can't get home for 5 o'clock to raid!
''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name? Apart from the fact that it's a pretty cool name? Well, i've raided with some of you guys before and everyone knows what they're doing so I guess it's a reputation thing with the name!
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us? As I said above, the reputation precedes as you guys know what you're doing, the guild philosophy is one I think I could definitely fit in with and hey, i'm looking to just join a guild that might not have a spec right now for me to raid with them but still has other things going on that I can get involved with!
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them? As I said, i'm sure i've raided with some of you but of the top of my head I couldn't say!
Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them? As I mentioned before, exactly what i'm looking for - it's cool to see a more relaxed approach to a guild!
Annoying questions
A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do? Well, it depends what it is! If it's about playing skills then i'll take it as constructive criticism, if it's just about me then i'd have something to say about it!
Cake or Pie? Cake definitely! Damn it, i'm gonna' have to go get some cake now.
