Thanks again for all the info, it's been very helpful .  I think I will go for the 9800se and try the driver thing.

All i need to do now is convince the misses that i need one asap! well at least befor the lan!!

i have looked around for some and found them all to be around the 100 up mark so will need to do some saving up or somthing!

There are some 9600 cards that are cheaper then some 9800 cards, is a cheap 9800 better or am i missing some of the detail. <_<

I am thinking of getting a new graphics card.  Is there anyone out there that could help me with some advice.   I have a HP d330 P4 2.8 and 512 of ram.  At the moment i am just using the onboard graphics.  i was hopeing to get somthing half desent for between £50 to £70 quid

Yeah it was, I was having a bit of a helpfull crash course from others on the same team.  Was a good crack.
