Compost Corner / To the guild council
February 17, 2013, 04:29:00 PM
Was too tired to respond properly last night. 1st off u never admit when you make a mistake (which is a lot) you cant move for S*** your always standing in S*** getting hit by adds and generally making a dick of yourself. Gms are supposed to be one of ther better players in the guild not being carried by others. While constanlty bitching about the repair bill. Maybe if you was doing the healing output to match your gear we wouldnt die so much.
And as for demoteing me did you not notice i logged off and left the guild? I dont want to be part of a guild run by a bunch of arrogant C*N** so far up there own asses they dont realise just how average they really are.
Dont bother responding to me cus i wont be logging back in to see it .

/cheers for the free loot C*N**.

January 29, 2013, 10:32:08 PM
hey i do need loot as i still have pvp ilvl450 head and legs, and some 463 stuff but tbh i think im holding my own with my gear as it is and would prefer not to make people run through cleared content just for me. Besides ill get better stuff in the other raids and i dont have anyone to compete with.

Im also hoping for a open world do what you want enviroment.
Though they have said there will be dungeons, raids open public dunegons and world bosses as well as battlegrounds and maybe arena.

So i would imagine there will be something for everyone.

Sorry if ther is a post on here already i did do a search and couldnt see one.

Just wondering what interest was like for this?
Looks intesting so far more action based combat somewhere between gw2 and tera from what i can gather but keeping the holy trinity.
And a very ambitious mega server where they claim like eve online there will only be one server for everyone.

anyway beta signups are here http://signup.elderscrollsonline.com/
cg1 trailer here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0jNT5cMwxw0

Ive signed up for the beta maybe if those who get in could say so here and we could group up in game to test some group content.
Ofc there is a NDA so no posting actual info from the beta here.

The following info is from ign wiki which was gathered from impressions and the internet and ofc is not confirmed and is likely to change.
update: found this on zam from a hands on playtest from the alpha http://www.zam.com/story.html?story=30900&storypage=1

The MMO version of The Elder Scrolls, currently titled Elder Scrolls Online role-playing series was officially announced on May 3, 2012. Developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online will allow players to quest across the entire continent of Tamriel 1000 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Elder Scrolls Online is currently scheduled to be released in 2013 for Mac and PC.

Who is developing Elder Scrolls Online?
Zenimax Online Studios, a team of approximately 250 people, is developing Elder Scrolls Online, which has been in development for several years. ZeniMax was founded by Matt Firor from Mythic Entertainment, who developed Dark Age of Camelot.

What is the plot of Elder Scrolls Online?

Little is known yet about the plot, but players will vie for control of the throne of the Emperor in Cyrodiil.

All of Tamriel is in unrest due to the lack of a ruler. Races from certain provinces of Tamriel form alliances to defend their provinces and expand their territory. The Imperials form their own alliance with the noble Tharn family and Mannimarco to bring Tamriel back under Imperial Rule. However, Mannimarco is secretly working with the Daedric Prince Molag Bal to rule all of Tamriel themselves.

You will play through these events as an adventurer whose soul was stolen by Molag Bal. Fight to get your Soul back and bring order back to Tamriel.
After reaching your level cap and thwarting Molag Bal's plot to take over Tamriel, the Emperor's seat is still vacant. It's time to take the Imperial City with your faction! Taking the Imperial City will not be an easy task. The entire city will be overrun with Daedra sent by Molag Bal.

Once your faction takes the city, the player that contributed the most during the entire war will become the new Emperor of Tamriel. Details on contributions have not yet been released. Becoming the Emperor is more like being at the top of an online leaderboard.

Where will Elder Scrolls Online take place?

Elder Scrolls Online will take place in Tamriel, which includes the provinces of Cyrodiil (where The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was set), Skyrim (the setting of The Elder Scrolls V), and the region called Elsweyr .
Some of the provinces may not be completely available, or may appear in reduced size. Possible expansions packs may fill out missing sectors at later times.

When does Elder Scrolls Online take place?

Elder Scrolls Online will take place in the Second Era, the same period The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard. During this era, there is no ruler of Tamriel, and Cyrodiil is in the midst of constant warfare.

Note: A little over 1000 years prior to the events of Skyrim, The last of the Akaviri Potentates was murdered and "Civil wars and insurrection dissolve the Tamrielic Empire"

What Factions and Races can you play as?

In Elder Scrolls Online you'll be able to play as one of three Factions. The three factions consist of several Races from specific regions of Tamriel. The races formed alliances to take on a fourth alliance.

The fourth, non-playable alliance / faction will be the antagonist of The Elder Scrolls Online. Imperials work with the noble Tharn Family to bring Tamriel back under Imperial Rule. Weakened from constant wars in Cyrodiil, these two form a pact with Mannimarco, King of Worms, who promises to reanimated the fallen soldiers to keep fighting for control.

Unbeknownst to the Imperials and Tharn Family, Mannimarco is really working with the Daedric Prince Molag Bal to rule over Tamriel themselves.

Will there be character classes?
While Zenimax is not sharing specific character classes at this time, the company has confirmed that a class system will be in place. The team is still considering specific classes and even abilities (there are some questions about how stealth will be implemented in an MMO, for example).

Any idea on the combat?

Based on E3 2012 impressions, the combat interface will contain a familiar set of bars -- Health, Magicka, and Stamina -- along with a limited number of slots in which you can place skills.

The ability to block will be an important combat asset, and it will remain separate from the skills placed in slots. It allows players to deflect oncoming attacks and interrupt spells. A well-timed block can be strategically utilized to dampen damage or even stagger opponents. Additional move sets include an ultimate ability and the ability to charge up more powerful versions of attacks.

Working together with others will be encouraged because it opens doors to cross-class combos. The specifics on classes have not yet been revealed, so expect to hear more about cross-class combos when Zenimax Online show the rest of their cards.

Does the game include PvP play?
Player-versus-player support will be included and should prove substantial. A lot of time is being spent to ensure that players are able to be self-sufficient, but team-based strategies will also play a major role in conflicts. The game's engine is actually designed to handle grand battles with teams consisting of as many as 100 members apiece, though it's possible that such numbers will change ahead of the game's eventual release.

Unfortunately, due to online latency, the combat system will not be the same real time combat the Elder Scrolls games are known for. The Stamina Bar will be the main focus in battles. Use the Stamina Bar to Sprint, Block, Interrupt, and break Incapacitating Effects. All these effects will vary by class.
.

What sort of mission structure should players anticipate?

The developers are working to ensure that missions are offered in a more dynamic fashion. You won't be required to obtain all missions from a specific guild, for instance. You might be wandering the land and happen across someone who needs your assistance, and markers may even appear on your map to guide you toward objectives in the event that you decide to lend a hand. The missions that you accept may also have multiple outcomes and progress in a manner that allows you to experience different content depending on your decisions. As an example, successfully keeping a character alive will allow him to impact later missions where otherwise he wouldn't play any role.

Are there going to be giant, coordinated PvE raids?
Going through challenging content with friends is one of the biggest draws of social MMOs, but some players prefer to circumvent organizing groups. In answer to this, Elder Scrolls will provide multiple kinds of public dungeons.

If you happen across someone in the midst of a heated battle, you can forgo partying up or even finishing the prerequisites, still help out, and be rewarded for doing so.
Standard grouped five-man dungeons will also be in the game, with normal and heroic versions.

Will Guilds be in TES Online?

Zenimiax has confirmed four guilds that will be featured in The Elder Scrolls Online. These four guilds are The Dark Brotherhood, The Fighters Guild, The Mages Guild, and The Thieves Guild.

The Dark Brotherhood

Currently, there's no information on how to join The Dark Brotherhood.

The Fighters Guild

To get into the Fighters Guild, you'll have to find and destroy Dark Anchors. Dark Anchors are giant hooks sent by Molag Bal from his Daedric Plane of Coldharbour. Their job is to drag Tamriel into his his plane. Defeat the Daedric Guardian that is blocking the anchor, and send the anchor back to Coldharbour to get on the Fighter Guild's good side.

The Mages Guild
To get into the Mages Guild, you'll have to search high and low for special Lore Books hidden throughout Tamriel. They can be in the busiest cities, or they could be in the most desolate mines. It's uncertain if the books will be randomly placed or set in specific locations.

The Thieves Guild

Currently, there's no information on how to join The Thieves Guild.

What kind of changes will there be compared to the former Elder Scrolls Games
â– TES Online will be seen from a third person perspective, and skills will be activated from a hotbar.
â– Fights will no longer be in real time. See PvP play above.
â– Presently, there are no plans to include a system that allows players to invest in property as they could in the single-player experience.
â– Marriage and relationships will be confined to inter-player relations, rather than arrangements with NPC characters.
â– Players will be unable to contract Vampire and Werewolf diseases, but there will be Vampires and Werewolves in the game.
â– You will not be able to fast travel from any point of the map, but fast travel will still be available. Travel from wayshrine to wayshrine to get around Tamriel. Wayshrines will also be the places you come back to life after being killed.
â– A new AI system will be used for all NPCs. Instead of everyone going to sleep at night, NPCs will not have the same schedules as older Elder Scrolls games. This was done to allow people to play on their own time.
â– Public Dungeons will be returning to the MMO scene. These dungeons are not separated from the rest of the world. They're designed in a way to allow groups of players to team up and work through the caves or ruins.
â– Mundus Stones will be set throughout the world, each with specific constellations and powers tied to them. Find one and activate it to tie the powers to your character.

Hi guys

Well i just wanted to say 1st of all thankyou, for the short time ive been with the guild i have enjoyed chatting and raiding with you everyone.
But after having a few days off where i couldnt log in to do the dailys. I realised i just dont care about the game anymore. The thrill of killing a boss or getting a new epic is gone for me and i dont want to spend the 3 nights a week plus all the grinding dailys to do something i just dont like anymore.

No reflection on the guild ofc this was a return to raiding for me and i gave it a fair shot but im done.

Anyway rambling on now ive canceled my sub and wont be back thankyou very much for the invite and giving me the trial and good luck in the future.

Shado-Pan and August Celestial factions will no longer require Golden Lotus faction to purchase this gear. This will allow players who have reached level 90 to have additional sources of item level (ilevel) 450 gear to progress into the Dungeon Finder Heroic dungeons more readily.

Players who are looking to purchase this gear should seek out the following vendors:

Townlong Steppes:
ʉۢShado-Pan - Rushi the Fox in Shado-Pan Garrison
•All - Commander Lo Ping in Niuzao Temple

 Vale of Eternal Blossoms:
•August Celestials - Sage Lotusbloom or Sage Whiteheart in the Horde and Alliance Shrines
•Golden Lotus - Jaluu the Generous in front of Mogu’shan Palace

 Dread Wastes:
•Klaxxi - Ambersmith Zikk in Klaxxivess
