I have decided to leave the guild.
I do not have the time to be as active as I wanted to be. Last week I broke my thumb, so I won't be fully able to play for some time. This won't be any help for a raiding group.
I wanna thank you all for the help and patience you had with me as new raider.

Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My real name is Chris. 29 years old living in the Netherlands. I work as salesman of motorcycle parts. My other Hobbys are football and tennis.

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I play this game for fun and that is what I try to get when playing the game. I like to make jokes but can be serious when needed.

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
I been playing computergames for like 15 years or longer. Started with Fifa etc. Then went to online game Utopia and after that I got addicted to WoW.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I don't know any people in this guild so far (yet). But I like the fact that you accept people who are not perfect and willing to learn. This shows that the guild has not such cocky attitude like some other (raiding) guilds.

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I am with all my characters in the guild called Horn of the Unicorn. Been there for over 2 years now. This is mainly a social guild and I wanna try the raiding part of the game too.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Nobody (yet)

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I like them. Getting people active on the forums and guildchat will make them feel comfortable in the guild and that way people have more fun. At least that is how I think of this.

What do you look for in a guild?
Nice people who also play for fun. And offcourse can be serious when needed like in Raids.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
I got many alts. But mainly I play this hunter and my paladin Baacoo

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Atm....if my current guild Raids we always end up as Dead Men.
But I only know this guild by name and looking at the achievements  you have done. Quite impressive on the Raiding part.

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
As I stated before..I play mainly for the fun. Trying to be helpfull when I can.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Looting system in the LFR. Too many ninja's who spoil the game for others.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Depends on how bad it is. Will talk to that person first and tell him/her that it was not nice. And if it doesn't stop talk to one of the guild leaders about it.

ADDITIONAL questions for Raid Applicants:

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid?
Atm on Wednesday, saturday, sunday and monday.
When my football season ends in May I can be on each evening.

Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?
Yes for sure. When I log in WoW I will always log on the Ventrilo from my current guild. And I just like to chat.

Do you have a stable internet connection?
Yes. Dutch cable internet is good and reliable.

What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?
Around 60 fps when doing the LFR 25 men Raid.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
Started a bit serious attempts during ICC. Played druid tank and on my mage.
In Cata I made my Paladin. Mostly healing in BoT, BWD and FL.
And with my current guild I killed 3/8 in DS. Also as holy paladin.

Why did you decide to play this class?
I only played dps on my mage. I simply like ranged dps. And a hunter can be very good when you know how to play them.

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
DPS ofc. Doing some serious pewpew.

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
I choose MM because it got a high dps with a simple rotation. I haven't tried Survival so far..but always willing to try it if it can improve my dps and be helpfull for the guild.
