Quote from: Chaosphere;443025These ad-hoc evenings won't fit a schedule per se, I don't think. One week it could fall on Saturday, one week Wednesday, one week none at all, and so on. That means the odd one might fall on a Sunday, if whoever is keen to organise it is free then.
'Protected' game nights haven't been a thing for a long time, and ultimately people will play what they want to play. I don't think any game can claim a specific night at the expense of other activities, as this realistically doesn't reflect the gaming behaviour in the community - we have people doing different things at different times and we shouldn't try to restrict this, it simply doesn't work.
Changing up when we plan some ad-hoc nights like this aims to reflect this, and let as many people attend as possible over time. It also means that many nights won't fall on Sundays, so those that want to play ArmA and attend these evenings will be able to do so the vast majority of the time.
