Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My name is Jason Bowers, from the great Scottish Borders. I am 21 year old student currently studying a degree on business. I enjoy gaming, drinking and sports and that is me in a nutshell.
Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I honestly cannot think of how to write something here without it seeming a cliche. I enjoy a laugh and have played World of Warcraft for about 4 years. I enjoy other games like League of Legends, Guild Wars, Warcraft and anything else similar that I can get my hands on. I enjoy the progression, even with the wipes as long as you feel progression and gain a sense of accomplishment. When i first became interested in WoW it was my involvement with my friends that pushed me through with maximum enjoyment, which lead to us playing many online games together and meeting new people.
How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
Well, I started fairly young playing Age of Empires, going on to the Total War franchise, then some how ending up on Halo and some random stuff and it just kept on expanding until wow. then i sold all my consoles and was left with my pc and world of warcraft. Ultimately a very wide variety but mostly into MMORPG's and stuff like LoL.
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I have been on a few guilds in aszune, some that have done well and some not so well. When i returned to aszune i opted to rejoin equanimity, which has to my dismay, changed for the worse. I ended up getting thrown out for, well not quite sure. I was discriminated against for being scottish by english players. they did not like the facts that i gave them compared to their bigotry. still you do not want to hear about that. i guess your guild just looked the most promising and active. So i thought id try my luck.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I have been in many guilds with my friends where they have chosen to focus with out of game issues which understandably, has lead to me looking for a new home. I think the biggest guild that played an important role in whom i am today within wow would be equanimity back when it was a guild. I was quite an arrogant, impatient player back then and brought quite a bit of drama with my elitist attitude when i really wasnt any better. But mistakes are there to be learned from and i believe i am much more relaxed now. Give me some music and a team to raid with and i will do the best i can. (this was about 2 years ago)
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
I believe i know a few people in Dead Men Raiding, not sure what their opinion on me would be as i havent spoken to many of them in a long time. I am fond of Jim (ammon) can always rely on him for a good banter. I know guru who was legendary back in the day, hopefully he is still potting on trash just to flex his numbers.
Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I believe in enjoying the game while not letting it affect out of game matters. I have learned the hard way what taking games seriously can do as it ended up ruining my gaming experience nevermind the many before that i may have affected. I think that a relaxed environment to game in is important in maintaining the enjoyment of the game. all of your principles make sense.
What do you look for in a guild?
An environment where i can play the game i love while being relaxed and having people to share the experience with.
Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?

I was going to write "super gay" for a joke then decided not to but instead write that i was going to write it. I am not too sure if it is supposed to have meaning but i guess it says to me that you play the game to death and take it seriously... obviously this isnt the case. I think the name is cool.
What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
I plan to heal, heal and heal some more. people will know me as "That guy who healed them" and just enjoying the amazing grind of dailies that everyone loves!
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
ignore it or tell them and ask them to stop.
Cake or Pie?
Well i used to enjoy cake and sweet stuff but meh going to have to go with pie. I love rhubarb.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
From Trial of the Crusader on wards to current content. I join quite late into MoP and only managed to get about 5/16 hc unfortunately though. Currently 4/12 in ToT. Quite a fun raid. Older content i was successful in all of cata and second half of wrath.
If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you.
I am kind of as in my alt that i am currently raiding on is on another server. Contact "Bananabeast - Kazzak" if you would like a reference for my ability in raids.

Why did you decide to play this class?
For some reason i cannot play holy paladin for the life of me. So i created a priest and loved it. That is quite simply the sole reason .
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Heal, heal and heal? keep the raid and tanks topped up. dispell and put lightwells up and make lots of holy light bounce everywhere.
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
With the changes implemented in MoP there isnt really many hard decisions. i take the upgraded shadowfiend for more mana. and i quite simply heal. Although between divine star and cascade i prefer cascade. they are both fairly close although i was say divine star would be better in an organised 25 man group. Most of talents are just dependent on how you prefer to play.
