I tried including a link from google photos first, which didn't work for everyone. Then i tried posting an imgur link, which I myself couldn't see after making the post but Chaos could. I have no idea what's going on haha

also thank you for the case recommendations! I think i'm going to settle on the Lian-Li - PC-O11 because it seems like it has more space behind the board for cable management, and it looks gorgeous! I wasn't sure why glass would be all the rage, but i got totally suckered in at first glance after seeing it.

Went for the full tower version because it was like half the price of the mid tower for some reason , and with the PSU removed this comes in almost bang on budget https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/gPV2yX

Now to go and educate myself on 144Hz monitors haha.

ok so it's already stupid question time.

1) I added my PSU to build 4 and saw that it wasn't compatible. So i've slapped a new one in there. No idea if it's any good :/

2) I'm in the market for a new case also. I've added one in which i think looks decent?? However I don't know how to tell if it's going to be able to fit the monster sized GPU and motherboard (Nik had some spacing issues with the raised section of the board)

@Chaos Thank you so much! I wasn't expecting such a wealth of options :O I will look over these carefully and consider what would best fit the budget while also buying a case (current one is dying).

Also thanks sneaky for the monitor recommendation, will stash that on a wishlist for later.

Hi guys!

So Frenzy recently replaced his machine because his old one kicked the proverbial bucket. Now that we've had a few pay cheques since then I would very much like to replace my 8+ year old box!! Especially as the top fan on the case has started making a delightful metallic screech as it continues to die....

The new box will be used for 99.99% gaming (I might code in unreal if i can face doing it in my free time). I've got a budget of around £2.5K and i'm looking to replace literally everything except the power supply. PSU is a TX850 for reference, happy to replace that also if it's not actually beefy enough for the new box.

As a side note I'd like for the box to be 4K capable, and will shell out for a 4K monitor after a few more pay cheques.

Sorry for pestering you guys for advice, much like Frenzy i'm not savvy on what's good component wise and am super super grateful for any advice!
