2 months into my life with my new guild & exploreing Pandaria, Tragedy paid me, my family & friends a visit & took my oldest & best friend, he had stroke with brain swelling complictions, the life support machine was turned of on the 1st of dec, he was 37 like me & ofc christmas was **** without him.....He was more than just a friend to me he was my "other" bother, i had known him since i was 9 or 10.....During his stay in a critical care unit in a london hospital gaming dropped way down the priority ladder as im sure you can appreciate & i didnt even pick up the mouse or xbox controller for months...

Well anyway enough sadness (he had a wicked sense of humor & would only be telling me to stop being "an arse") but I just wanted to explain where i had been & since last saturday Ive reactivated my wow subscription & have been floating around on the odd char, I've not logged my priest (Ruhanni) or Hunter (Finnesburg) since I've started to play wow again, but i have been lvl'ing a dwarf pally not in the guild (ret spec at mo, will prob go Holy as 2nd spec when high enough) & logging my Sham (Tahoe -who is in the guild to help with gold & making armor).....incase anyone thought...who the heck is this?

Sweet i got into herp keeping last year, I did have 2 female Gargoyle geckos (Rohanna & Freya) in an Oriental inspired viv with bamboo ect, but sadly I lost them both...Not exactly sure why, they seemed to be eating fine, they had a varied diet CGD, real fruit, gut loaded crickets dusted with calcium power, no sign of fighting with each other (they were keep together by the previous owner) I worked really hard building the right viv & enviroment, spent a small fortune on it...but Maybe I was just unlucky, did kinda put me off for awhile but maybe next year I'll get back into it....was thinking of getting a Chameleon maybe, but what I'd really, really, really love would be a SunGazer but their super rare & super expensive (got some pics of the girls i had will try and find them)

@Switchback.....it would appear not far from you! according to your forum your profil.........I live in Greenhithe (near the Dartford tunnel) So I'm about an hour & 20mins away & I work in Tonbridge which is even closer

Hi peeps my name is Glyn (36yrs old) & I live in the South East of England, Currently working for a Timber Merchants as Branch machinist/Senoir Sale Assistant...And up untill begining of this year a Assistant manager(Company close the branch)

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I'm very social person who likes other ppls company rather than my own (if im honest) I've Always had an interest in fantasty & Magic so I really looked forward to its release

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
Errr.......to many years! Since I was a nipper on the Atari 500 in the mid/late 80s.....I've always loved Aventure games like the old "Point & Clicks ones, the best having to be the Monkey Island series, then ofc theres classics like Gauntlet probabaly the most fun Co-op arcade game ever imo, always enjoyed a good sports game Fifa, Tiger Woods, NHL games ect

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I have recently (in the last month) returned to wow after several years away (as I had been playing since wow's UK release & needed a change) I  applied to DMR as I read the guilds Philosophy & thought it seemed like the place for me....I also dont like to just join any guild spaming in Gen chat that are just interested in guild numbers

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
Way back in the day I was a memember of The Spirit of Dawnsong (one of the biggest raiding guilds on dreanor) when wow launched, but over the years as the game changed, so did the guild (not always for the better) so several leaders/officers and members folded the guild (in name) and we reformed with more of a social feel i guess, after several years we all had a discussion & the guild "fancied" going Horde side, I didnt really appeal to me but as they were all good friends (including my brother) I didnt want to leave them so i joined them on "the dark side" this lasted several more years raiding socially as small guild doing a few bigger raid with other friends (eg..Guilds) untill the last few of us drifted away to play new/other mmo's, I came back to wow with the launch of Cata & found a really nice bunch of peeps back on the alliance side but from a raiding point of view I was too far behind gearwise and as they were hardcore raiding guild it wasnt really for me in all honesty & again i kinda drifted from wow & tried a few mmo's Lotr online & DC universe but didnt get the same "fun factor" i had playing wow

Its sounds like this guild appreciates that ppl have lifes outside of the game but make a concerted/committed effort when raiding

What do you look for in a guild?
A mature, friendly & social raiding guild

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
Im currently playing my Priest Ruhanni but can also be found on my Hunter Finnesburg, my Shaman Tahoe or Zaoshen my pandarian monk

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Its sounds like the name of a guild thats sensible but also has a sense of humor & reminds me of the 1995 American crime drama film

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
Im hoping to find a new home of like minded people to have fun with & enjoy some of the content I have not explored & hopefully if you nice peeps think im good enough maybe you'll give me a chance to raid

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
If im completely honest i think the game has been weakened with the changes to the raiding structure, sure the smaller raids have given more oppotunities to others but I remember getting into guilds & having to earn you raid spot & really be involved in the "class team"

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
You'd have to go some to offend me in all honesty (ppl say im like my dad "Your So laid back your horizontal) but joking aside Everyone one is entitled to their opinion wether you agree with it or not & there's no need to result to name calling, I would simply inform the right person & leave it in thier hands

lol if you ask my friends & family they'd say "you'll have a job shutting him up!"...

Do you have a stable internet connection?
Yes - Bro is a tech wizard and we are with a provider called Zen (hardly anyone knows of them as they dont advertise in the public domain) Set us up via his work contacts, its a bit pricey compaired to other but uber reliable

What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?
Not sure im afraid, not raided since comeing back to wow, but i only got my new pc last xmas (thanks to me big bro - btw we rent a place together incase that seemed odd)

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
Raided right from wow launch content to The Burning Crusade to Wrath to Cata

Why did you decide to play this class?
I have mainly raided as a hunter through wow but I also enjoy healing & used to raid with my healer to help guildies gear up their alts (so they could play another class now & then)

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
If i can gear up and join in the raiding fun, I'll play any class im asked really but healing & keeping peeps alive would be the answers i guess

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
Still early doors (as I've just returned) but I've always favoured the Disc tree for healing, I've always felt it give a better output than Holy but ofc things have changed in my time away
