Are you applying for a Raider position, or Social membership?
Raider

Tell us a bit about yourself! Who are you? Where are you from? How old are you? What kind of work do you do?
My name is Nadia, I am 26 and I am from Denmark. At the moment I am studying to become a chef, my exam is coming up this Friday in fact, and then I will have a few more months of working being hired as a "student" until my contract ends and I can officially call myself a chef.

Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
I am a very social person who loves to laugh. I enjoy WoW because, well because it's AWESOME! I started by accident/my brother forced me to try it, although I did quit because I was terrified of the big spiders. After getting over my fear I gave it another chance and I've been playing ever since (TBC).

How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
As most girls I have had my fair share of The Sims, and before that I played Mario Brothers, Sonic, Pacman etc. Nothing kept my attention like WoW did and does.

There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
My hunter is currently on Kilrogg, moved there from Silvermoon due to the free transfer offer, but Kilrogg is completely dead. I had a look at the different servers that I might be interested in starting with the A's .. Aszune! I made a little level 1 character and asked around in trade and then mr. Tealeaf/Teaell whispered me and we had a chat on teamspeak - this seems like the kind of guild I am looking for!

What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I have been the Raid Leader of Motivation, a 10man raiding guild on Silvermoon, that I helped create. I decided it was time to throw in the towel after our main tank rage quit and our entire healing team went on a break. Having to rebuild the raid team once again seemed impossible. Having a 1 hour queue almost every day of the week on Silvermoon, I decided a fresh start on a new server (without a log in queue) would do me good.

Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Tealeaf/Teaell - as explained above.

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I agree with both. I value a good social atmosphere above all things as well but also have a desire to kick ass in the end game.

What do you look for in a guild?
A place to call home, a mature and friendly raiding environment.

Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
No, not at the moment, as I am not planing to move all my alts - I will most likely level up a new one or two at some point (We're all a little addicted aren't we? - hehe)

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
Of course the movie "Dead Man Walking", but more so the scene in "The Green Mile" - one of my all time favorites!

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
I hope I get to call this my new home in the game, and that others will know me as the fun and confident hunter-goat.

Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
That will have to be Looking For Raid - for so many many reasons. But I do enjoy Flex - I think that was a brilliant idea!

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
I ask them what they mean, I might have taken it the wrong way (yes women do that some times - hehe). If I still feel offended, which I highly doubt I would ever do, I will talk to an officer about it.

Cake or Pie?
Cake’s flaws, both cosmetic and culinary, can easily be ameliorated with the application of a whole lot of frou-frou crap. Sometimes the cake is a lie. But pie: pie is naked, unapologetic, and honest. On the other hand cake is the marker of holidays and life events, a way to say this thing, this moment, has meaning. Real meaning. One has a wedding cake, not a wedding pie.

ADDITIONAL questions for Raid Applicants:

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid?
All your raid days and times suit me well.

Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat?
I like to take a humble approach but once I know everyone well enough I hardly stay quiet.

Do you have a stable internet connection?
Yes!

What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding?
A minimum of 30 fps.

What kind of raiding experience do you have?
I have raided since TBC. My main has always been an enhancement shaman, up until a year ago, having to raid lead I decided being a ranged DPS would give me the most benefit. I have also raided as both a healer and a tank - so I know a bit of everything.

If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you.
Well I am afraid I cannot really do that as our guild split and I transferred to Kilrogg.

If your armory does not show your intended spec then please make a template of it and link it.
N/A

Why did you decide to play this class?
As mentioned above, being a ranged DPS gave me the best overview of the fights. But I generally enjoy classes that do not have too much casting time and can DPS on the move - I think a hunter is the ultimate choice - having excellent kiting abilities as well. (Plus I get to have a fluffy pet!)

What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
My role would be DPS'ing and not standing in the fire for extra bonus points! I would be interrupting, miss-directing and perhaps even kiting if that was needed.

Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
Well I prefer Survival to Beast Mastery any day, I do not like having to rely on my pet to do my dirty work - hehe.
Breaking it down regarding talents I have chosen Posthaste because I found I was having difficulty running away from Thok once he would reach around 8-10 stacks - I occasionally switch to Crouching Tiger depending on the fight.
Binding Shot, the new talent instead of our interrupt, I find it to be really helpful in many situations - a nice and easy to apply AOE stun.
Aspect of the Iron Hawk, far better for PvE than the other two in my oppinion!
Dire Beast, again far better for PvE, does a lot of DPS.
As Survival I usually pick A Murder of Crows, they buffed the DPS on it and I am really liking it a lot - there are some fights where Blink Strikes is more useful.
In the final tier I use Glaive Toss, I hardly ever switch this one out, it is very powerful - I used Barrage on Heroic Primordius though, so never say never.

Thank you for reading it all and I hope to hear from you soon!

Best Regards
Zanee/Zazia/Nadia
