My names Sam, Im 31 living in Carrickfergus area, Belfast, N.Ireland. Im currently an Ftg Supervisor in a local store, (easy life) I think of myself as an avarage joe, Someone who balances my Work, Social, love life and Wow as best i can. Very easy going.
Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Im a very easy going guy, I concider myself helpful to any players who need a hand. I've always been a fan of Rpg's, MMORPG'S, and ofcourse First person shooters, Always loved the complexity of these games, A game (depending on your mood) to play solo and at your own pace or simply to enjoy a challenge by working as a team and getting something achieved thats otherwise impossible alone. I think its safe to say most people find it a good stress releaf coming home and putting your problems aside for a while. Works a treat.
How long have you been playing computer games and what kind?
Since my fingers where big enough to reach the buttons.
Have 2 bigger brothers, So was pretty fortunate enough to see the spectrum, Amiga's, Commador 64's, Atari's etc, Mega drive, Snes, when they came out, Grew up playing all the classics. Ended up being more a fan of Rpg's over the years.
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
I have played on Azune for a good while, before WOTLK release. DMR has been around a while, Have a few friend's in a few guild's, but they are mainly either inactive now, or Full time raiding, no social play whatsoever, I enjoy playing with older more mature players, I love the fact i see you guys doing everything, Was off Wow for about a year, Coming back i see so many new guilds, never seen DMR slagging or getting on like an ejit on trade, for that simple fact i think, i assumed you where an excellent choice for a mature guild with a bit of banter.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
Have been in a few over the years, First 2 years i was in Sas (Special Azeroth Service) We worked great together, all very decent guys and girls, We geared eachother up, helped whenever we could. and over time, and some very strong coffee's we finally downed LK, A great guild and a great moment for us, Soon after a new guy came onboard and unfortunatly destroyed the guild from the inside, was terrible to watch, but inevitably the guild folded. Still good friend's with all of them, (They no longer play) have them all still on facebook etc, I decided to take a wee break after that during cata.
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
Have been around a while, Have seen them about often, They seem to keep themselves to themselves.
Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I feel its good to have a Structure and a chain of command that nobody feels threatened by, Someone to help guide players and make arrangments, A guild in its self that has a structure and philosophy is definitly what im looking for.
What do you look for in a guild?
Friendly players, A bit of banter. Nice atmosphere, Players that are not afraid to answer question's or point people in the right direction.

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you?
Continue to gear up and complete achievments, I would have to say i never ask for nothing, i have a brother on Azune and my girlfriend also plays on this server, We help eachother whenever needed, i have always been a fan of raiding, Was a full time raider in WOTLK, Raid leaded my own runs and loved the challenges of Horoic modes, Not having a guild over the past year or so has not stopped me from gearing up and making friends on the server, Im a guy who would definitly jump at a chance to help out any player that needs it.
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
Feels very gear dependant,
A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
( RIGHT!! Bare bellys, outside mucker....just kidding... I used to be a Tank in Wotlk, im use to any abuse. 
if its justifiable then i have no issues with it. at the end of the day, people have a tendency of sometimes taking things the wrong way, Im hard to offend.

Which evenings of the week are you available to raid? Mon-Sun Finish at 3 local Time (GMT) everyday, Off every Weekend.
Can you and will you speak actively with other guild members on Teamspeak and in guild chat? Yeah, not an issue,
Do you have a stable internet connection? Yes
What sort of frame rates do you get when raiding? Ranging from 40 -50
What kind of raiding experience do you have? Have raided Since Wotlk, Took a year or so off wow, came back, So started late, no guild makes it difficult to proggress a little, have completed every raid available so far, apart from SoO N and Hc. But have downed 14/14 Lfr 14/14 Flex. 1/14 Normal. Difficult to get groups without guild.
If you are a cross-server applicant, name someone from your home server that can vouch for you. N/A

Why did you decide to play this class?
When i stared off, Melee Dps gave me an opportunity to see alot more raid content due to the fact i had little knowledge of the game. and had never tanked or healed. Dk's being a new class was exciting at the time. one which was nerfed many times but didnt prevent me from continuing. I first got kicked out of icc for having to low dps, Was abit dissapointed at the time, From that moment i was determined to learn my class as best i could, from there i pretty much Studied my rotation, spent a lot of hours beating a dummy half to death to tweak even a 1% increase out of my rotation and dedicated myself to knowing every single tactic there was to know for in game raiding. to be honest, i think being kicked gave me the nudge i needed to start learning to play properly. From there i thought, hell..if a guy next to me can do it, i can do it, so i took up tanking, (Scary first raid) loved it. improved as time went on. then from there, I lvl'ed a healer, enjoyed it also, So currently raid with 552 Frost Dk and my trusty 528 Resto shaman. (Which is still work in progress btw)
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Since Panaria i have been Melee Dps, But have had alot of expeirence playing Tank rolls, and also have a Healer which i play often.
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
Unholy being pvp, Blood tank, Frost Dps was my choice for pandaria. Being a late starter, i wanted to get straight into the action.
My build was trial and error. 1-3-1-2-2-3 With release of panaria the builds have become fairly simple.
1 - I feel as though this is a dps gain given that it uses the same rune as pestilance except with this it does damage also,
3 - I find Burst Dps classes gain agro if or when a tank died's, This talent (purgatory) (The ability to take lethal raid hits) Gives the raid a few seconds at the very least to get the tank up via Cr in a raid fight.
1 - The ability to move faster comes in handy, i.e Doing belts on Blackfuse etc.
2 - Self healing ability, A slight dps loss, But great for healer struggling or Massive damage moments.
2 - 45% chance for rune regen, concidering changing to 1, need to practice with it.
3 - A dps gain when used during multible fears being used. Concidering changing also to 2, A more healer freindly talent.
