I wasn't directly recommending a gtx570, just an example of the fps achieved by a specific system.

They seem hard to find new now, in fact about £50 less than i paid 3+ years ago........crazy.

If only it performed as well with ArmA 3 😫

I have a GTX 570 with an i5 3570k and i usually get the best part of 200 fps.
Although my i5 will o/c to 4.2gh. But i don't know is CS is more cpu or gpu dependant?

When i joined i just missed a new map which looked like it had a road littered with cars ? I only saw the overhead view of it, wouldn't mind getting to try that one.

Still like Dust 2, seems to be the Karkand/Warlord of CS. Mirage and Inferno are good too.
I also like the one on the skyscraper under construction, i can never remember the names.

Enjoying the new maps, haven't got a clue where i"m going but good to play something different.

With that in mind just wondered if you would be adding 'de_sandford'.....apparently it's a classic.

Are you able to extend the time between when buying starts and when the round starts? I often find i'm not quite finished when the round starts making me late to the choke points.  Just 5 seconds would be a help..........maybe its just my age. :helpsmilie2:

I like the $800 start, makes the first round win crucial. Downside being if your on a weaker team it feels like you spend the whole game with a pistol in your hand. But you only get better by playing better players.  :ninja:

Agree with the round length, having the time to sneak around is a bonus.

I've been enjoying your server for a couple of months now and just wanted to drop in and say "hi"

I'm fairly new to CS and for years  had always dismissed it as something similar to CoD. How wrong i was !
Aiming and gun control is probably the most difficult i've come across in any game i've played.

So guys please feel free to offer abuse....... errr i mean advice in game, it would be greatly appreciated.
