Sorry to hear it blunt. I got the feeling that your hardware was letting you down. I played with 200-300fps and I was good, and recently I upgraded to 300-400 and got better fast. It must be very tough on a lower end system.

Anyway speaking as someone with CS gametime in the thousands of hours (and still a lot of people much better than me), get out while you can.

There are over 9000 posts on this subject on the ED forums. That doesn't make it easier to figure out, it makes it much harder!

I've had a pop here. I know that power generator, distributor, and frameshift are important - I saw my jump range and maximum energy increase massively.

As for the other things, I'm kind of just guessing. I want to be combat orientated for now.

Any hints or suggestions? I'm also not sure my expensive shield stuff is worth the extra rebuy cost (I generally die when I've got 3 ships or an angry anaconda on my ass - will slightly better sheilds make any real difference?) so I'm looking to both downgrade and upgrade where appropriate.

I am thinking about a kill warrant scanner on one of the utility mounts. Not sure about the other one.

I guess I should be looking for straight upgrades on the weapons...

That 40 quid one looks ideal, have heard good things from many here.

You can buy mine if you like. It arrived about 7 hours ago, since then I've lost about 120,000 credits and earnt about 8000. I just didnt get on with it at all, which is surprising as the whole bloody internet is raving about this thrustmaster x.
