Hope this doesn't count as necroposting - but just wondering if anyone is still playing Back 4 Blood?

We've been playing but we are getting to that stage where we need a full team of reliable players to start taking on the higher levels. 'Pubs' ain't cutting it (mostly because they won't communicate). So if anyone is still playing pleaselet meknow.

Thanks, Steve

Hello all! It's been a very long time but I am getting interested again in team/co-op gaming and I wondered if anyone in Dead Men is interested in the forthcoming BACK 4 BLOOD?

I remember that several DmW guys used to be L4D fans so let me know if there is any interest about B4B (the open BETA is starting soon)...

Many thanks,

I've been playing the original Insurgency (and Day of Infamy) casually for a long while now so was excited that a follow-up game was released this week - INSURGENCY: SANDSTORM.

If you are familiar with the original Insurgency you will recognise the same team-based tactical hardcore shooter with PvAI, PvP and Co-op modes of play. But now it has a fantastic graphical boost with a newer engine.

It looks like the sort of team game dMw would like but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone is interested AND wish you all a merry festive season! :)

Quote from: .DickDastardly.;434064... do you own it ranger? what do you think of it?

Hi there DD, yeah I'm a Kick-starter backer, it is indeed a 'work in progress' but the pre-release version is useable and I've been playing about with it.

I'm an old Ghost Recon fan so I really like it, but it's not for everyone - particularly if you like adrenalin fuelled run and gun games. It's a lot more tactical and methodical (so slow)....

Here's a video of me attempting my first solo offline (bot) training mission...

Of course, the main event is multiplayer and I'll post a video of that as soon as I have completed one of those.

Maybe you haven't heard of it? Be nice to know either way though.

Cheers...

Awww, hi guys....Thanks so much for the kind 'hellos'. :)

Can't say how the rest of the old BIG guys are doing as I haven't seen them in ages (I left my job at the uni where we worked). Last I heard they were all still heavily into World of Tanks.

I'm just starting to dust off my old rig and am looking around for something teamy to play. Completely outa touch with what people use for V-comms now and what not. Will have to read your forum are to get an idea how things are set up now.

I'll also have a read of your game threads to see what you guys are playing now.

Again, thanks for the welcome! Much appreciated.

Hopefully, see you online soon.

Yep, it's the player formally known as 'BIG_Ranger'...

After a long, long hiatus from gaming I seem to have caught the bug again (in a very modest way)...

Of course, I've aged somewhat since 'the good old days' but what can you do? ;)

I've been watching the events unfold from E3 and a few things have caught my eye and got me interested in maybe getting back to trying some community play...SO...I wondered if what dMw's views on the following were:

• Fallout 76
• Battlefield V
• Insurgency Sandstorm

....OR...

Is there something closer on the horizon that anyone would recommend that I look into that you guys will be playing (and maybe welcome and extra player)?

All the best,

Beaty

Hello all,

just wondering if there is any interest in some squad/team play of the WW2 hardcore shooter Day of Infamy?

I was a big fan of their previous game - Insurgency - and am finding DoI just as much fun, but am tiring of the shambolic public play.

Any takers?

Hi,

although I know you are big CS fans I wonder if you have taken a look at Insurgency yet?
