Me and a Friend (@ce) are looking for three others to do a spot of MM with on the 8th Oct (Sat Night).

@ce used to play quite a bit of CS back in the day (1.5 I think) but he's not even had a PC for the last few years. We had a few games round mine a few weeks back and we had a good laugh (apart from the few toxic team mates we encountered) so we want to do it all over again. Some kind of mental punishment I reckon.

I'm still rocking Silver 3 at the mo and @ce only has a couple of wins from when we played before. If anyone would like to join us that would be awesome as some sane team mates would be the best way to convince him to get playing again. The plan is for there to be some beer then some CS then some beer again. Starting around 8.30pm.

I just found that you can set the language to pirate in launch options.

Anyone found anything on Dedi servers for the PC version of this? Mods? I doubt it but we can always hope.

Currently we are in and out of hospital with the little man, he's having another MRI scan around that time so I really couldn't commit to anything this time around. Good to know you do that sort of thing through!

Never been to a LAN before no but it's always been something I'd be up for. Few peeps I've been gaming with before have tried organising them but nothing ever materialized.

Just managed to find you guys with a quick few searches on Google.

I've been looking for a gaming community for a number of months now, specifically one that has an active scene in CS:GO. I've hopped onto the CS:GO server earlier and found a refreshing fun place to enjoy it which I think is a first.

A little bit about me:

I'm 34 with a wife and 1 year old.
I've been playing online games since 1999. Including CoD 1,2,4, WoW, Battlefield 3 and waaayy back in the day AvP.
I'm a brummie (apologies in advance)
I like beer and burgers.

My CSGO story:

I like games with competitive edge and since the current state of CoD is not what it used to be I decided (about a year and a half ago) to try an learn CS:GO. I've played a little matchmaking with some friends and originally got up to DMG rank (boosted slightly as one guy I played with on a regular basis was immense (GE)). After that we stopped playing for a bout 6 months. I've recently started up again and Valve sees fit to give me a new rank of Silver 3 I realise I prolly don't deserve DMG but I'm in some kind of nightmare at the mo, solo queuing with Russian children. Any help would be greatly appreciated but if I'm honest just having a good laugh while playing would be good enough for me.
