Very impressive.

In case anyone has problems with their HOTAS throttle with the new Flight Control System this video will help you set you your HOTAS Throttle so it works in a similar way to 3.4

Folks,

Just a quick note to let you know that 3.5 PTU should be available to everyone.

I was hoping no one was going to ask that.   The best way I can describe it is... loose.

You know that with the X55 & x56 you can change the spring to stiffen the stick.  I think my spring has "lost its resistance".  I've tried putting a wedge in to compress the spring and that helps to some degree, but I'm just looking at other options.

I'm looking to get a new HOTAS as my Saitek X52 is getting a bit long in the tooth and whilst it generally works the joystick is a bit "floaty".  Any suggestions.  I was looking at the Saitek X56 or X55 but I've seen some negative reviews regarding wiring failures, and realistic I would be looking to buy second hand (circa £120 - £150).  I would of course love a  Thrustmaster Warthog, but that's a little to "rich" for me.  Anyone got any experience of the Thrustmaster T16000 HOTAS?  Reviews look good but just curious if anyone has one?

NB: I know some people like to fly with twin sticks in Star Citizen but I'm looking for a more traditional HOTAS set-up that I can use for other flight sims.

Any thoughts and feedback most welcome.

Not sure if anybody is interested in WW2 team multiplayer games, but if you are you may be interested in Wolf Pack.

It got launched EA on Steam on Friday and is a multi-player U Boat simulator.  Its around £27 or â,¬30.

If you have it already and fancy a game let me know.

Fellow pilots, as you are probably aware 3.4 is now out in PU and I must admit I'm finding it very stable.

40 fps in Port O, 70 fps in space, and 60 fps in Grim Hex

Missions seem to be working.  And missions seem to appear in the general area you are.

Ultimately PU looks good.

Oh and there are some new ships... none of which I have.

I certainly will.

Tried to get into 3.3 PU this afternoon but no joy.  Keep getting a timed out error.  Looked in Spectrum and it appears to be very common at the moment.

Thanks for posting the link to the "telemetry" (https://robertsspaceindustries.com/telemetry) very helpful.  Looks like to 40 - 50fps in the PTU should remain stable for me in the PU (Target 47 fps)

With regards to Star Citizen Alpha 3.3 Elite Dangerous v3.3, I think most of my time will be with Elite, but I guess I shall just have to wait to see how long it is before 3.3.5 for SC is released.

A quick lesson to everyone on why (if possible) you should never burn bridges when you leave a company.

I got a call from my the boss of my previous employer (it probably helped that we left on good terms), he had just purchased a new SSD and was having difficulties setting it up.  As you probably have guessed I'm nor a IT expert but I offered to have a look and in reality it was an easy fix.  I was just about to make my excuses and he gave me a card that came with the SSD, a Intel "gift code" for the Sabre Raven :)  He knew I was into gaming and had not idea what it was but thought I might be able to use.

Needless to say I have a shiny new Raven and am enjoying life in the smug zone.

I look forward to seeing you all in the 3.3 verse later this month. o7

Well I pulled the trigger and melted a couple of ships to get this one.  Whist I enjoyed the Freelancer series it always felt like I was "living in a van".

I guess I just have to wait now for a release date, which will give me a little while to think of an appropriate name for my new home.... possible the "Hasty Mallard" in honor of the Blue Duck.
