Did you know you were in an election with the 2nd place faction? you're trailing by under 1%, so very winnable for you.

Yup. I noticed. You were ahead by a point the other day. Been trying to earn some of it back all evening.

The last mission I was given for gaining election influence resulted in lots of civilian deaths and a 50,000cr bounty on my head, so it better get won now...   (Still, it was more interesting that all deliver poll data missions.)

Just off doing as many boom data/commodities missions as I can while the election is underway. There's some REALLY out of the way stations I'm being sent to. Which is good, give's me more time to drink.

...just thinking about how the new mats in the ship really tied the cockpit together when I hear rumors of civil a war kicking off. Easy credits from the combat hotspots thinks I.

A couple of missions in and I read up on the faction who I'm introducing to cold vacuum in the conflict zones, damned if they don't sound more like my kind of fellows* than the lot I'm working for. Only one thing I could do, Old Sport, I had to flip sides.

Turns out I picked well. Flew several combat missions for Dead Men Walking over in ZTA, next day they've captured a refinery. Well now, my T6 is close by and I've time to haul. Which I spend the next few days doing. Just grabbing as much as I can from the planet and running it all over the sector, while carrying out as many Faction missions as possible.
