**BUMP** Is anyone still playing D2?  

With Beyond Light just one month away, this could be a good time to get back into the game.  I play on PC an PS4 if you would prefer one format over another.

I just helped my nephew build a new PC with a Ryzen 2700x and I was very impressed with the performance.  Just remember if you are building with it you may need to borrow a low spec Ryzen to upgrade the mobo BIOS and the Ryzen 2700x has NO ONBOARD GRAPHICS AT ALL.  So make sure that there is a grfx card on the mobo before you boot up.  Saves a lot of anxiety and swearing.  

Very impressed with the performance of the M2 memory and it helps keep your case super-neat.

Around these parts, it's either BT or Farmer Palmers Intermaweb Service if you want to watch Netflix in slideshow format.

WFH today, so I should be around this evening if anyone fancies playing.  I've only worked through the Ops so far, so I'm sure that online is going to be a whole new world of pain.

Why are my framerates for this game so dreadful?  I'm getting 15-20fps with a 1070 GTX running at 1080p and bloody awful screen tearing!

Is there some setting that slaughters the frame rate that I can deactivate?

Is anyone going to be online tonight?

There is some other edition with extras you don't need, and also the monthly subscription to EA Access to avoid.

As the title says BF1 can be picked up for £4.37 from Origin and the Premium pass is currently Free.

Installed the game on Saturday.  105GB!!11!!  O_o

I'm still working through the tutorials (or whatever they're called) and it really does remind me of the fun I have playing R6: Vegas co-op back on the Xbox 360.  I shall try and join you folks for a game one evening.

Can one play this game with the Starter Edition without being at a huge disadvantage?  If not, what is the minimum version recommended to purchase?
