The Clean Up / Another one bites the dust
November 28, 2006, 03:47:35 PM
Like many others, I have, after a couple of weeks break, come to the conclusion that it's best that I leave my post. Hogging a RG2 spot isn't helping the raid group when I'm not online. I'm not leaving the guild, just stepping down to soldier rank. However, I wont be much online untill TBC comes out.

Good to see that you guys are making progress again after our minor setback. Wish you luck in BWL, and looking forward to see you all again for some serious power gaming when TBC is here.

The Clean Up / Read!

Quote from: Greatdanes;162992Maybe open for sign ups a little bit before then 1-2 days, will help. Why not open it a week before?

This, imo, leaves too much time for people not being able to attend after all, due to unforseen issues. And this leaves the chance of people forgetting to cancel their signup.

The Clean Up / SoulbringerX retiring
November 15, 2006, 02:51:31 PM
I think it's easier to compare the loot with a company sending an employee on some sort of training for whatnot, thrown in with a “bonus night out on the town”. Would the company chose to send a new employee on this training, or the old one that has served the company for 20 years, but just quit the job two weeks ago? It’s quite clear who would need the training the most, even though the other one has “earned” it.

I have no problem seeing that Soul feels a bit betrayed, tho.

The Clean Up / Trial Loot System Feedback

Well, with the response on this thread, I've got a much better picture of what trouble the commanders and officers have had with this before. Whatever is best for you guys is all I have to say. Perhaps leave this thread here as a "warning" for future demands of change in loot systems.

The Clean Up / SoG - One 8th November
November 09, 2006, 10:29:49 AM
Well, I didn't drink anything, and I almost did the same thing. I rather left the raid instead, so I wouldn't fall asleep on the "walk forward" button and head out into the lava at Raggy. :D

I think the idea that Mazii and Darkangel presents here is quite good. This way, we can stick to the old "who got the most DKP" and it makes it a lot easier for people to pass to others if they would like to, cause they can see who would like it.

The Clean Up / RageFull Stepping Down
November 07, 2006, 08:33:35 AM
As people were asked to send a PM if anybody were interested, we wouldn't see it here yet, I'd wager. It would be nice if we were presented with the candidate before it's settled tho, in case anyone would like to say something first?

Not having your Onyxia attunement is one thing, as that is a long quest line and hard to get ppl for. But not having the BWL attunement is another thing. That tells us that this guy is a fairly new level 60 character, and most probably not ready to play with "the big boys" quite yet. Dunno about the rest of you, but I feel that a fresh priest will take us too long to teach. After all, we only have another 8-10 weeks of raiding before TBC.
