Cheers Dingo - I started using Cosmos but have gradually disabled more and more of its features as it is sooooo big it is cumbersome.  The one thing to really be careful of is that if you start WoW by running the Cosmos autoupdater then the first thing that Cosmos does is clean out any addon folders that are not part of the Cosmos package.  So all your careful tweaking of 'Gatherer', 'Atlas' and your other bespoke mods is wasted as Cosmos deletes it for you.

I have about 15% of the addons enabled these days and rely on CTmod (which includes CTraid) as my main raid support software.  The great thing that CTmod does that Cosmos does not is manage the groups better.  In a raid you can see the MT's targets, their health, manage all raid memeber's health/debuff status. group members according to class and importantly you get the instance mod which provides warnings at variou strategic points during the fight to the remind you whihc phase has started, which  frenzy/deep breath or other notice of impending doom has just happened.  If you don't have CTmod installed then go install it now - it even makes Steam work (allegedly). :norty:

I'd argue it's always better to ake up your own set of individual mods, rather than a big pack like Cosmos. I run about a dozen individual mods and although the updates take a while each time there is a patch, I get exactly what I want and no clutter

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Some Mod seems to have messed with the new need / Greed buttons for me and JAS. Can't find which one ...even with them all turned off.
