Oman - 28/Sep

Apologies to anybody I TK'd on my bombing runs on the Oman map tonight.  Whilst enemy vehicles come up with a nice green HUD triangle, I'm still not checking the minimap every time for friendly infantry before I unleash bombing hell. :oops:

I'm also finding the jet's air-to-air missiles aren't that effective against choppers, and have been experimenting with gun passes.  I don't have the fast-mover vs chopper closing speed worked out just yet and collided with Flibb's Cobra  a couple of times.  Apologies for that mate. :nevermind:

K/D ratio means nothing if your teamwork score is in the toilet.  Hopefully, I'll get better, and break this target fixation thing I've got going on.  So, sorry to the MEC team if my crappy piloting tonight messed with your game.

I have the same fixation and the same problem when attacking choppers (or in fact anything other than another jet) but it's fun trying! I find my main problem is losing the missile locks...boom. Think we won oman in the end after recovering from our early setbacks - great battling over the hotel and then along the beaches. wp team

I tried a few more classes tonight...as and when needed...I'm going to keep swapping for a little while, til I feel comfortable with them all....I've given up all hope of ever flying...p'raps one of you fly boys could coach me at the LAN (=BEER)

a new player tonight who showed the right stuff...hmm.....began with k I think....someone help me remember! :huh:

Been a while since I played but enjoyed last night immensely, apologies to team on Dragon valley couldn't understand why we weren't capturing the flag (power station) - didn't realise the first base had fallen.

You're not wrong mate. It's geting like that isn't it?

I hardly play on ranked servers at all (I usually do a ranked server warm-up before coming on dMw though).

In fact one of my friends who I used to play ranked with has been asking where I've been and what I've been up to!



I don't miss it.
