I've been hunting down my Magister set for some time now and two pieces have escaped me - the Magister Boots and the Magister Crown.  

The boots drop from the Postmaster (during a Scarlet side run in Strat) and I have only ever seen them drop once - and guess what - I lost the roll.  I'm not too disappointed by that as I haven't really had that many goes at the Postmaster, so statistically speaking I should not have acquired them yet.  

The Crown on the other hand I have really worked for and have done literally dozens and dozens of Scholomance clearances (they drop from the very final boss, Darkmaster Gandling) yet I have never seen them drop.  So imagine my delight when last Monday I was invited into a Scholo raid and we cleared super quick with no wipes and Darkmaster  Gandling dropped my much wanted Magister Crown and I was the only Mage in the raid.     Yeah my delight was great, so many raids, so much time invested and finally the item I had most wanted from the Magister set.

But only for 24 hours was it great.  On Tuesday I went to Molten Core, we killed Garr and I got the Arcanist Crown from the Tier 1 Epic Arcanist set!  

Bloody typical I call that - a really nice Epic drop and it ends up making me both happy and yet annoyed at the same time  

And I still need some boots! Grrrr!
