Well wasn't that just the dogs bits. No vehicles and I haven't had so much fun in ages. Sure you had to run it a bit but it droped the pace of the game nicely. It also made you think more about spawning and holding bases as you didn't have the luxury of legging it round the map in a fast black ;)

Loved it guys, thnx for the GGs :D

DuVeL

You only liked it because I wasn't around  ;).
Got some spare time tomorrow m8?

In answer to your closing question BB, yes I enjoyed Infantry only.
As always, I enjoy the game thoroughly but find it totally knackering! :D

Thoroughly enjoyable games tonight :D

started off as SL...not very successfully (sorry Norm) on Mashtur I think...

it was a real chore to cap the mosque...a few more joined during this game and then came Karkand...
due to my zinging new PC I was first in and SL again :( ...
as US we couldn't push the MEC out of the Hotel for more than a minute...I think we got the square for a few seconds but we were on a loser :(

map change = quick smoke....Karkand again but as MEC and NOT SL :D

medic'ed as fast as I could and killed a surprising amount of US attackers, especially at the suburbs...

No vehicles works a treat on this map...but I have my doubts about some others...but I'll be happy to be proved wrong 8)

No, the last thing I heard as I hit the eject button was BB saying 'how did I like the infantry only?'
But of course I couldn't answer 'cos I was on my way out.
Unnerstand?

Many thanks guys - I only forgot myself once and tried to drive a truck (Mashure City - habit I'm afraid)!

:)

Geat games - really enjoyed Karkland - and found a couple of new hidey places!

Blueball showed me a nice little niche over-looking the flag at the 'Square' (I thought he'd fallen off the roof! But he found a sneaky little ledge to snipe from).

Bloody Norm on the Suburbs roof! He must've killed me half a dozen times! Took us ages to take that...Though I think Swiss and Blunt probably thought the same thing about the Square (I was designated defence on the roof - and grenaded any sneak attacks! LOL)

...Tell you what was really wierd - when we finished our last game, a few of us that were left went over to Tactical Gamer to play a 64 player Gulf of Oman. Suddenly we were using vehicles again and it felt strange! I kept running places hen suddenly remembered that it was OK to use a jeep!

:)

Nice to have nearly enough dMw to make a squad on the TG server! (Target, Blunt, Paddy and myself) - Bit of an 'away day'!

My Funniest incident: Karkland (dMw) - sneaked into the last MEC flag across the Train Wreck bridge - sniped a few people from BEHIND

...And then tip-toed round to the flag itself - layed a couple of claymores (because I knew they'd come looking for me when the flag started going down), and hid in a new place I've found!

Sure enough - when I neutralized the flag Norm came a'looking and stumbled into my claymores! LOL     (Revenge for the suburbs! LOL)

Cheers everyone - another good evening!

Kept my medics employed well last night. Great game, might have a sneak over to TG with you lot next time as my war wound didnt start playing up as it usually does after an hour or so of killing. IP?

Blunt

Ranger...
I joined you on TG but was on the other side to you...and you didn't stay long after that...I know what you mean about the jeeps...I was thinking "you can't drive that!"...doh!
TG was great fun...it comes as a shock to be under an arty barrage after playing on our server   but I'm definately going back :D

Battlefield 2 Retail #1 (64 Player) +    70.86.19.218
Battlefield 2 Retail #2 (48 Player) +    67.19.26.150

It's a good late night option for those of us who don't have to go to bed at 11pm (this is usually about when the last well populated game fiished on dMw)...

We used to do little 4 v 4 games after this - but the TG is a more exciting option.

What with them being Yanks they are up much later (if you know what I mean).

I haven't ried the 48 player server (but will on Thursday night).

...In fact I may do a thread called 'Late night rendevous' just for us night owls!

:)
