I just checked out the screenies, they look nice. How is the handling - arcade vs realism? And how much can you access in demo mode? Do you ppl here play with S1 or S2 license? Phew lotta questions :)

S2

its as realistic as you want to make it :)

not sure how much you can access in demo mode. The LFS website will tell you.

I just upgraded from S1 and its only £12 for the upgrade. Cheap at twice the price

S2 on sale now. There is nothing 'arcade' about it. Not to be confused with Need for speed. It IS a steep learning curve so get the demo but don't bother going on line with it. (bunch of idiots)
A thought  :lightbulb: I could set up a demo server and password it so that new guys could try it online in peace. I'd make the password the same as Meathook
Let me know.

Gotta say im tempted to drag the old wheel out for a race......Bought S2 and never played it...Damn WoW

LFS was definitely realism over arcade and does require some learning, but once you get it going nicely it is rather fun. The demo used to be excellent fun, even online ;) I just lost the time and inclination (damn PhD) to carry it on

I've created an LFS channel called "dMw LFS S2" on the dMw TS server.

EDIT: There is no channel password you just need password for the TS server.

Can you S1 and S2 licensed players play with me on a demo server? If that is the case, and should Doorman put up a demo-server then I will join you guys :)

I cant seem to find it in the server-browser?

Edit: I entered the details manually, but the game reported "this server is running another program code" - perhaps my game cannot "see" the demo server, because you have a higher license running aswell?

Bump.

TS LFS channel password removed. You still need to enter a password to join the TS server but not the channel.

Doh! After I went through all that! Bring back the passwod, bring back the password.  :spam:
